Have to say, as a fan of the original L&O and L&O CI, I am enjoying these. No slapstick drunken-housewife-pleasing humor, no retarded romance, no will-they-wont-they "tension", no "the coroner solves all the cases" type of "differentiator" nonsense, no "zoom zoom enhance, lets type together on the keyboard for faster cracking" technobabble. Just cases and small cast of agents solving them. No left-wing, SJW agenda so far
Seriously, no romance whatsoever between the cast members??? This sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?
Nothing so far. Very reminiscent of Law & Order. Rene Balcer is even showrunner of Most Wanted, and advisor on FBI.
Will give it a watch then. Been a long while since I watched a decent procedural as nearly all of them devolve into poorly written relationship nonsense that supersedes the main point of the show.
He's a chump, but he grows on me in that show. The first episode (FBI episode 18, a backdoor pilot), I was really uneasy. Also Lellan Lulz. But both grew on me as I watch it.
