I saw that it is sold for prices equivalent to ~240€ in China. Is there any way to get one for a similar price (<280€) in europe?
3GB RAM, Snapdragon 801 (4x2.5GHz), Adreno 330, 13MP Sony camera (supports 4K video), 1080p

I always buy from ibuygou.com, it has the same price as Morthibus said. From china to the Netherlands it took only 3 days to ship.
I didn't pay any tax and i was very pleased with my Xiaomi MI3 unit back then.

Well Xiaomi was cheap till it got it the news many times. Now they charge almost the same as for a samsung device. Also i owned a Xiaomi Mi3 in the past, device is great but the operating system (MIUI) is a disaster. They have so many bugs and every new feature they add brings more bugs with it.
Last week i checked the forum again after 1 year to see if they changed this, but many mi4 users complain that miui sucks and has tons of bugs.

Xiaomi sells like hot cake here in India due to specs and higher price of other brands another brand is oppo which is selling quite well here and they have great specs as well

Oneplus one is way overpriced, just like Xiaomi these days. I don't understand that the Xiaomi Mi3 is still using the price from 2 years ago and the Xiaomi Mi4 even got more expensive then at launch date. At this moment i am waiting for the Jiayu S4, if the design is correct (the leaking screens) i might order 2 of those.

Mi3 was better. Mi4 has heating issues and Mi4i is losing at benchmarks to Mi4 
1 and 2 are still amazing.
