|
 |
So I got a nice cheap Andoid table and I'd like to use a gamepad to play emus on Retroarch etc.
I have an OTG usb cable and have connected my mouse and my keyboard on it and they worked! So then I connected my Thrustmaster Dual Trigger 3-1. the light went on but it's not working. No input is recognized it seems. Do I need a powered hub for this?
I want to make this pad work so I don't have to buy another one. And I don't like wireless shit because of battery, latency etc.

YEP!
You can get them for a good price nowadays, and it's pretty easy to connect one to your Android device via Bluetooth
Enthoo Evolv ATX TG // Asus Prime x370 // Ryzen 1700 // Gainward GTX 1080 // 16GB DDR4-3200

The only caveat is requiring a PC and "sixaxis pair tool" for the initial MAC change/sync when running Bluetooth, but after that? Everything is gravy and it works flawlessly on everything I've tried to so far. You can even buy PS3 clips for Android phones so you can hold your system like a proper handheld -- though obviously that doesn't apply to VGA since he has a tablet.

Hmm?
I don't want to buy a new derppad that's worse than mine just because Android happens to like it more.

tell me the model and i will tell you how to root it ...
yes really ...
and any application that Overclocks , changes Settings in the Android , even Emulation needs root
root = getting access to your drivers of your device and the main ini settings
you hate Terga for having those fancy effects , emulate that you have TEGRA ... and see Nvidia bullshited all people ... some app running too slow ... turn off some effects ... some games look to shit, turn on AA or change the filtering or other effects ... now you can do it ... etc...

^^ yeah totally bought it for nostalgia, I think you'd want a controller with dual sticks anyways not just a d-pad.
asus z170-A || core i5-6600K || geforce gtx 970 4gb || 16gb ddr4 ram || win10 || 1080p led samsung 27"
