I'm thinking of advising a friend to buy this one, so he can overclock it and get great performance for the low price. Then after 1-2 years he can upgrade to an i7 or something.

But what mobo should I pair this CPU with? Do all 1150 mobos have the option to change the multiplier and the core voltage or do I need a specific mobo chipset?

ORLY? Going for low price here.

I'm thinking a Gigabyte H81M-S2PV should be fine for some modest OCing.
