Not sure where to put this... I get the feeling that Robert Florence is under-rated as a writer. Barely see anyone linking to the stuff he does, whether it be board-games, video-games, wrestling, comedy, whatever. So, yeah, random thread to promote a guy who seems genuine, and is genuinely interested in writing about games. Smile

His Twitter: https://twitter.com/robertflorence

His video-gaming site: http://www.amusementarcade.org/

Site's Twitter: https://twitter.com/RabsArcade

Cardboard Children, over at RPS: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/tag/cardboard-children/

And this is relevant, around now: www.amusementarcade.org/2014/10/09/what-is-best-in-games/

Quote:
Watching the documentary Milius just last night, with its claims that a left-leaning Hollywood made it impossible for Milius to do his work, I was struck by the thought that it might be worth us guarding against that kind of thing happening in video games too.

Shame he's writing for a shit site. Can't support RPS in any way shape or form. I will take a look at his personal site however.
