I'd like to get the Air but I don't want to be converting every mkv I download because none of the players support DTS audio Is there an easy way around this?

Jailbreak it and use XBMC or RushPlayer+

galaxy tab s has amazing screen and it has longest battery life when watching movies/tv of all tablets. (thanks to amoled power efficiency). oh you already bought it. well, i tired ipad air for videos and it's pretty much unusable. very poor black levels and 4:3 screen makes it a fail. it's ok for gaming though.
