An extraordinary RPG, Sci-Fi Dungeon crawler, with an exciting first-person exploration and a challenging turn-based combat.
Space Shock is an RPG game set in Space. Space Shock is the younger brother of all famous dungeon crawlers the RPG fans could play in the past and it still can be played via emulators on our beloved PCs. Space Shock will not be an ordinary Dungeon crawler, but rather Sci-fi based, which the players have not seen the likes of for years. The dungeons, forests, old cities will be replaced by huge ships, space stations and bases built on the planet surfaces and their moons. The player will take a party of heroes and needs to lead them through the real ‘Survival of the Fittest’ environment. It will be hard to crawl past all robots, droids, defense systems, aliens, mutants and get out of the ghost ship which you have boarded as a group of Space pirates. As the younger brother to all dungeon crawlers, Space Shock does not suffer from all the growing pains of its older brothers and will become a modern and revolutionary dungeon crawling game, offering everything you loved before and much more you can find in many of new RPG games.

I feel like I'm looking at Legend of Grimrock Sci-fi Edition (only turn-based), which is a damn pleasant sensation. Really hope it will deliver, we need more -good- games like this.
At least Firaxshit accomplished something. Their game was so shallow, that now the only thing people associate with the series is the turn-based combat.
Looks neat. Hoping it's basically a not-too-dumbed-down Buck Rogers, but it does seem more like turn-based Grimrock in space. That's fine, too.

I think I'll be even better than LoG as SS focues less on puzzles \o/

To all Space pirates!
Only three days left to reach the end of our Kickstarter campaign and we have decided to cancel the campaign. We would like to thank every one of you who have pledged or helped spreading the word. All those have backed the project from unknown studio and believed in us game deserve our respect for their courage and their support has been greatly appreciated. We worked hard on the game prototype we have shown, we've contacted press, we've listened to backers and we've tried to get the word out as much as we could.
With no excuses it looks like we have failed with PR. We have not been able to sell our project very well and attract more backers and supporters.
The future of Space Shock
Unfortunately the project won't be funded here and this will slow development down. Maybe we will need to find new jobs, me included, because we need to pay the bills and our children need to eat. Maybe not, who knows.
At this time the team is working on playable build and we will try to find an alternative way to have the project funded so we will be able to work on Space Shock daily.
They're about to release a playable prototype, hopefully with the intention of returning to KS with a new campaign. Lots of new artwork has been released and they're putting the finishing touches to the prototype which will be available for everyone to try;
