What's the point of having those sensless/wizless phones?
Either samsung or htc have their os on top of android to provide best functionality of the device. With current phones haivng so much memory it's nor a big deal to install another launcher and just use it.
But option wouldnt be bad if they dont charge more for it
Everyone is rooting their phones and installing plenty other aosp systems and deodex and remove bloatware and other shit.
And especially android fanatics who get new device in it's release day and not use it for 5minutes on wiz or sense
3080, ps5, lg oled
Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
That is only good news, stock android is much better than HTC bloatware shit.

Somehow i sense that you misread what i typed...
It's not bad to have such a phone without sense, it's bad that they have to copy samsung in what they did in order to get more sales (hopefully).
(So the copying is the bad thing i meant)

well that is one beautiful design... i am loving this dual stereo design, one things phones lack so far is loud and proper speaker phones.... but that none removable battery means it'll get shitty battery life with no way of adding a bigger one...and no micro SD card? come on
Yeah totally agree there ... those 2 things you listed are holding me back to buy one

Who the fuck needs > 32 gigs, come on For daily rides it's more than enough. Take flash drive if you goo into the woods for a month and connect it through OTG.
And the battery is awesome, as mentioned before. Totally on par with Iphone 5, Noote 2, SII and destroys all previous HTCs.
Bigger battery = ruined design. Can't have both.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

I am not a person that swaps phone every year....if i want to swap the faulty battery for a new one i can't. I need to send it in for repairs and pay big money for it. While, if i buy a samsung one i can buy a new battery and swap it without sending it to anyone.
That's the MAIN reason, also i am a person who keeps photo's, movies etc on a EXTERNAL SD ... so, if i need to do a factory reset or something else that i won't lose anything. If i would sell the phone people can use a program to get those photo's (files) back and see what you have stored.
Well, i'm gonna get bashed for this. But i goddamn like blinkfeed a lot!
They just ported it for my One S (still in beta, most things gotta be resized to qHD), and i really like how it works.
Shame that you can't manually add app's or feeds yet, hope they implement that..
Other then that, it runs really smooth, without any stutters. No point getting new contract this year anymore

Yes, that's a folder within the appdrawer, and no, it's not misplaced. The folder that i opened up is under it (atleast i presume it's not misplaced and it's supposed to be on top of the folder itself)..

Brother got it today, some rough edges on the aluminium, one corner has gap on it... In other words build quality is shit. Also there comes yellow spot on the screen when you stress up the phone (when it heats to certain level)
I've currently got an iPhone 4 but i'm looking to upgrade to something new and try out an android based phone and the HTC One caught my eye. When I asked around in the phone shop they said that a lot of people are returning it since apparently the battery time sucks really bad ( apparently have to charge it a few times a day), problems with the phone getting really warm and various other problems. I realize that these problems may be specific to faulty models but after googling it seems to occur for a lot of people so I'm not really sure on what to believe. I really dig the design of the HTC One and it's really appealing to me overall but I don't want to end up with a phone that gets too hot or with a really shit battery or any other problems that the model is afflicted with because of faulty design.
So what is the official word on the phone? Is it a phone with lots of troubles even tho it seems to have a great design or is it really the phone to get right now?
Brother got hes One today back after 1 month (it was in HTC warranty service)... They gave exactly the same shit phone back and stated there is no problems When you game on the phone or other stressfull activity, there comes yellow spot on the screen, also build quality is like shit on this. Are they retards or what, im going tomorrow to the fucking shop and shove up the phone to the guys ass. They really need to replace the phone, unbeliavable job from finnish operator and this HTC finland warranty service.

but how is this possible? grass is always greener on HTC side.
in all seriousness, that royally sucks. looks like your brother was extremely unlucky with quality lottery and got most known problems in his device

I've asked this question before when i got my first android coming from ios, however i never found a solution. So now on the HTC One i have the same problem.
How the hell do you display animated gifs??? I have tried quiet a few browser and all have similar problems. Either completely lock up and crash the browser or display without crashing but the animations are very broken and choppy, useless tbh.
Go and take a look in the Sexy selections forum and look in the latest animated gif thread it's a good test
The problem i have had on previous phones have been a ram issue from the looks of it. I have no problems like this on note3 with chrome in the sexy selection forum.
