Mortal Shell publisher Playstack has announced its giving away the game’s upcoming expansion The Virtuous Cycle for free for the first five days of its launch. Grabbing the new rogue-like DLC before August 23 will allow you to keep it for no extra cost. After the free period, the expansion will revert back to costing £6.99 GBP.

WTF? It was 1400 pesos when I checked yesterday. The DLC itself was 700 pesos.

It didn’t have regional pricing probably, now it does. Price dropped in many regions

Went back to play the first game in preparation for the sequel.
I forgot how good it was despite being a pretty short game but it had a small development team I believe.
Put around 20 hours into it only to find I couldn’t finish it since the final boss didn’t trigger due to a bug connected to returning the 3 sacred glands.
I was so annoyed to find the only solution was to start the game over!
One save that is automatically overwritten is pretty crappy!
I wasn’t going to play the beta and considered starting from the beginning but since progress follows over and I can't wait for Mortal Shell 2, I played it for 6 hours.
Pretty much done as much as the demo would let me but I was left feeling pretty impressed.
It’s certainly a step up from the first game in many ways especially in terms of its size in comparison! Looks great and plays great and I’m hyped to get back into it with access to the rest of the game next week! Also gonna have to pay extra to play 3 days early on August 17th as well I think so I’ll be playing next Tuesday!
