It's an absolutely amazing, atmospheric game. I've ventured into Yharnam for straight 3/4 days and I was gooone. The game looks amazing even today and gameplay is through the roof. There is no Dark Souls 2 variety but the quality is unbeatable

Lance McDonald has managed to mod Bloodborne to increase the 30 FPS cap to 60 as well as reduce the rendering resolution to 720p to allow it to actually run at 60 fps or close to it on PS4 Pro

So I made a patch for Bloodborne that modifies the game engine in such a way that the game can run at speeds up to 60fps, and with a PlayStation 4 Pro with Boost Mode enabled, the game actually reaches that speed quite reliably! I hope you enjoy just a bit of a showcase video showing off how amazing I personally think the results are. Hopefully the future of Bloodborne is bright in the hands of PlayStation Studios and with the PlayStation 5 hardware, but if not, at least we have this in the meantime.
Patch Release and Usage: I'll be releasing this patch publicly once the PlayStation 5 has released and Sony have made it clear whether or not Bloodborne will be enhanced on that system in any way. Out of respect for PlayStation, I want them to have the first chance to put 60fps Bloodborne into the hands of players. This comment will be edited/updated with a download link for the patching utility for Bloodborne v1.09 in the future once this has happened. Obviously, you'll need a way to run unsigned code on a PlayStation console to use the utility once it's released.

There is actually a chance for PS4 pro to be running this at 60fps in 1080p.
PS4 Pro boost mode doesn't make use of the PS4 Pro GPU that's why boost mode barely helps.
If Sony does a proper update that makes 100% use of the CPU and GPU (unlike Boost mode) it should be running at 60 fps.
the reason why they don't release 60 fps for actual miyazaki souls games (demons souls, dark souls 1 and bloodborne - note not das 2, which was outsourced and das 3 which is a piece of shit cash in)
is because animations is tied to frame rate and when you remove the fps cap, numbers of glitches pop up ie double weapon durability loss, stamina issues, sync issues in multiplayer etc, iframe issues. i don't think they care to go back and fix these problems so they'll just leave it how it is.
rockstar did the same for the old GTA games and that's why they never get that "remaster" release with 60 fps etc.

the lance guy fixed all of that in his patch. He changed every game bit to 60 fps

You do understand it's not just some fake video, they are actually playing it like that, BUT currently only diable with a dev console since you have to run unsigned code.
