I finally couldn't stand the lack of cats in my life and caved in, adopted one found in car engine compartment and then one more to keep the first company.

Great pets guys <3

The mini-lioness Mieo that's been ruling the house for 11 years, a wild force of nature but very affectionate as well - and hyper-talkative as per Siamese tradition. She adores sunbaths and roaming the countryside with me:

And of course she's also a serial murderer, leaving a new dead animal on the porch week in and week out before she eats them Laughing (it's a temporary gift that serves as a means of showing me that there's no way I can match her hunting skills, or something like that Razz)

No kidding. I still get some serious pangs of grief over my two cats who both passed away in 2020 (like now).

In hindsight I regret being present when they were put to sleep (due to serious illness, the dreaded kidney failure). I still have the most difficult memories of those events.

My condolences Sad I still get teared up when I see pictures of my cat from 25 years ago. Cats and dogs are the best, but letting them go is hard.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

hmm, I'm dreading this scenario with our first pet that we look at like a small child. Being there seems the right thing to do.

When my 13 year old dog broke her back, I was too far away to be with her while she was put to sleep

I regret that. Sometimes there are no good choices

RIP Ralph!

We are really made to experience things first hand, having a pet has really changed me. Holy shit the first time i went to a vet they told me he had a heart murmur, i had a long time i had not cried that hard and it was like after having him for 3 months. Hes good, got second opinions and it was all good.

I feel for you, everytime i imagine something happening to this guy i break. Best wishes for u.

Still no golden or cat tho. Soon

I know THAT feeling. I've lost 2 cats recently. One had heart problem and one had covid (i could keep her alive with medication, but the price was like €5000 per year for the medication as its very uncommon for animals. The vet was excited to get her case, and i don't blame him.)

So now ive got 4.
The one in my latest picture is 7 months (HUGE paws...i bet he will get big) and other than that ive got one that is 3 years, one 16 years and one thats 20 years)

Cute cat with a happy tail Smile

i love my both cats to death. i am worried for them sometimes (both outdoor cats), but less and less as the years go by. would be fun to buy one of those small cameras and put on one of them to see their adventures.

Had to put down my 20 year old cat today Sad thats the 4th cat i've lost within the last 3 years...

For the first time in 30 years i only have 2 cats. But I will however get myself an oriental later this year, not just so soon after losing my Artemis though.
