@sabin : I know a way to recover your save games if you have an iTunes backup. I'll let you know on skype when I'm back home
And iTunes backup is supposed to transfer back apps to your iTunes library. If it doesn't you can force it.
Sorry for not expressing the instructions before, I wasn't really following this topic :/

If you backed up your device before updating, you can still recover your saves.

Rough Sabin, sorry buddy. I was only reporting my successes to help you make a decision. Both my devices which had been updated OTA had worked fine, but it's true they were already on 7 when they came in (Air and 5S, so yah)...
Thought you knew about the major numbering updates needing to update that way.
And then insult to injury you still can't run 25pp.. that just boggles my mind. So you had a complete fresh restore, fresh jailbreak, you added the 25pp source, installed AppSync 7.0+, then 25pp, and it crashes immediately?

You're using http://apt.25pp.com/ ?
This leads to two folders, and one of them appears to have TWO 25pp files. One of them is like 3MB and the other very small (if i remember correctly), are you certain you're installing the correct file?
The small one is a strange file that I don't know what it does but it will error and not do much.
We both know you know exactly what you're doing, but just figured I'd throw this info out one more time in case it helps somehow. ;p
EDIT: Also I don't know if it matters at all for your device, but did you install the new Cydia Substrate? You have to search for it in Cydia and install from there, doesn't come with the jb. Probably won't affect you, but maybe give it a shot?

Hurray!
Generally I search for apps, and in the search list if you tap an app, 3 options will open up underneath, just pick the one all the way to the left! It will download and install!
And when it tells you you have an update for an app (or multiple), just open the update tab and just tap the icon in the top right! It will queue them all for download and install!
That easy!

Grr. I have an old iphone 4 and ipad 2. Both are on 6.1.3. I first used the p0sixspwn 1.0.6 for the iphone and it kept giving me an error. Then found out they released a version .7, so downloaded it and it worked great. So i thought i'd do the ipad too. Well, it says the jailbreak worked fine, but no cydia and now my wifi is greyed out. Grr..trying to do a restore now.
UPDATE: Well, it wouldn't stop doing a reset loop and itunes couldn't restore the backup. It wouldn't even go into dfu mode, but i was able to download ios 7 and update the ipad (after three tries). I then just used the 7.0.4 jailbreak instead and it's working. Would i have liked to have my ipad 2 on ios 6? Yes, but oh well. And i was able to restore my settings/apps from my original backup in itunes.

So does the evasi0n jailbreak work flawlessly? I want to update my Ipad4 to Ios7, but only if the JB will work...

Aye, mine did too. Aside from the error 6 stuff, it all went fine for me too. General>Accessibility>Increase Contrast/Reduce Motion and disable background tasks in order to improve performance on weaker devices, but the Jailbreak worked fine.

Thanks guys, the JB worked fine. Had Error 11 a few times while updating to Ios7, but managed to get around this by using an older Itunes version.

IAPfree still works if you get the core and plugins from Cydia, Local IAP Store installs but doesn't seem to work for me, I got authentication issues with it on games that used to work for iOS 6 and IAPfree.
-edit-
Oh, you said iOS 7.1. Sorry, I only know 7.04

So sad that dev gave up/disappeared. I use localiapstore for now. Not the best but it does work generally for me.
Sad that it didn't work for Angry Birds Go! though. ;p That game is some epic bullshit IAP nonsense, but I like how it plays. That's the only one I've been sad about so far.

What dev, bud? The one for IAPfree? Yeah, that was great, shame the "app" no longer works but egh, as long as the core works it's okay. Weird about Local though, it doesn't work for me on the apps it used to - apps which IAPfree still works.

Yah the IAPFree guy... looked like he just stopped, wonder if he got threatened somehow. ;p He was too public with his work if you ask me. I never understand why some devs in the business of "piracy" or cracking software set up these big public blogs about it...

Beta 4 of iOS7.1 has blocked the jailbreak. These retards should have waited instead of blowing it for nothing.

What does that mean "they knew"; when they release it to the world, Apple engineers just disassemble it and fix the exploit. They are retards.
Yeah bit busy, bit you know... This place needs more action, been quite stale for a long time.

What are you guys using for larger apps? AppCake and AppAddict are great for smaller apps, but when something is 1.5gigs and takes 6 hours to download, it inevitably fails to download for me.

Nothing on the iPad itself, too frustrating, so I just rely on Sinful and Heaven at the PC. 25pp isn't too bad on the iPad though and at least it supports resume.
