Disc 2 wont fucking read in my 360 and I've ran out of verbs now Mad
No hope of getting it to read these shitty Aone discs I have left now.
I'm guessing my launch 360's hitachi 46 drive is pretty knackered by this point.. oh well

I'm such an idiot. I saw a 16.9 GB ISO nzb and thought it was disk one because the other nzb said Disk 2. Turns out that after the first extracted, it was the two ISOs.

Seeing people say they successfully burned and installed both disks, I'm going to try that with my iHAS burner.

This console domain is completely alien to me, on a personal level, so, can I burn this to disk with a regular dvd writer (the only one I have is several years old, like, since 2005?), or do I need some of those fancy, new dvd writers with some bs technology this colleague of mine I have problems trusting told me to have?

You have it mixed up. Put content files of Disk1 on internal hard drive and disk2 god format or extracted on usb stick. Should theoretically work Razz

i have tried it both ways, this is a pain in the ass transferring to usb back and forth

does the USB need to be formatted by the 360? the OP post seems to suggest that???

You are pretty much fucked, I think. I don't think there is a way to get it work with external usb drive. I have tried everything to get it ti work with external usb drive but it just didn't happen.

Who knows, but I was stuck on "Waiting For Cloud" indefinitely and I fixed it by putting Disk1 on internal HDD. If that is any one of the help.

I don't know what to tell you, it works perfectly here using the DUPLEX release. This is exactly what I did;

1. Extract RARs.
2. Delete UPDATE folder ()
3. Rename from "{BLES01807} - Grand Theft Auto V" to "GTA5-BLES01807" (makes it easier to see games on the drive and it shortens the path list, to save potential trouble)
4. Moved the "GTA5-BLES01807" folder to GAMES on External.
5. Loaded MultiMAN, then loaded GTAV without changing ANY options.
6. Dropped back to XMB and launched via BR icon (I keep a PS3 demo BR in the drive at all times)

That's it. The game loaded, started installing 8GB to internal, then a rather long (2m-3m or so) initial "Loading Story Mode" screen and then it was fine. I've had no problems with it - oh and I'm on Rogero 4.46 1.01

Ok so here is my problem I got the game from someone because I am out of town for 3 weeks and had no way to get it... and yes I am buying the game but for ps3 anyways, he gave me the game with both discs already converted to god format. I have no computer here to do the conversion back to iso then to xex. Is there any way to work around disc 1 being in god format? Please I have been up all night and just want to play this weekend that im stuck in NC.

Don't make disc 1 with iso2god as it contains a god container which you don't want.

I've run this on an xbox that's never been on live and I haven't updated for about 6 months. I'll detail the steps below. Follow them and it should work. I didn't have any issues and the game ran first time.

1) Extract both discs.
2) Use Xbox Backup Creator to extract the contents of disc 1 into a folder.
You'll end up with this format:

Your Folder\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000000
Your Folder\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000001
Your Folder\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000002
Your Folder\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000003

3) Copy these onto a external drive or stick.
4) Using Iso2God; Convert disc 2 to a god format in a standard way
5) Copy the resulting folder to the external drive.
6) Bootup xbox and open the file manager in FSD (presuming you're running FSD).
7) Copy contents of "your folder" to the interal drive in content. You'll see there is already a content folder and '0000000000000000' so move the 4 directories there.
Cool Makes sure the disc 2 image is whereever FSD picks up games from.
9) Navigate to games library and pick "GTA 5 Disc 2"

These steps will work.

No worries. It was the "not using iso2god for disc 1" bit I almost screwed up. I made the god package and then realised I didn't have the 4 output folders.

I have a question though. If I did want to put disc 2 on the internal drive. Do I just follow the steps (i.e. xbox backup creator) for disc 1 and repeat (i.e. copy them to the content folder on the internal HDD)?

Laughing those tutorials are so derpy it hurts my belly from laughter

why not just exctract dvd 1 , copy the content folder to your content folder on your internal HDD , extract dvd 2 and run the xex from any f-ing program you like , and the most derpy thing is they don't say this game needs new bink drivers for music that 16197 Ms update has Laughing

people only god this and god that ... GOD DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU Laughing

Playing on the 360 (LT 3.0) and I'm getting some random restarts on the game.
I get this message:

"The game was restarted due to a problem with the storage device where the game data was installed.
Please replace the storage device and re-install the game data if issues continue to occur."

Anybody else experiencing it?

Im thinking my PS3 is getting a little too HOT. anything i can do beside vaccum it? i did that and there was almost NO dust at all. im thinking about opening it tonight and clean the fan.

Will putting a table-fan behind the fan of the ps3 help? Does the ps3 suck in or blow out?

In case of the 360, the air is blown out at the inner wall of the back of the case.
There are no further fans on the CPU or GPU. So one could say, the processors are only cooled passively.
And there is one tip for the 360: Have the console standing. The air exhaust system is better working that way than having the console in a laying position.
If you have your table fan blowing on the back of the console you are only producing a heat wall! Do not do that! Sucking up the air won't really help either.
So my tip is, to have the table fan blow from 45° angle from the front.

Well, I will pick up my freshly RGH modded 360 today. Very Happy
