so is the aussie version on installous the "real" version? I know they had censorshit issues with the original so I want to make sure...

It has censorship. Get the us/international version from elsewhere.

As a side note, after playing the pirate version I ended up getting it legit for free via freemyapps. Not that 5 bucks was a bad price, but in the end rockstar should have gotten money out of it as well, so it's win-win. Installing and running the sponsor apps was a PITA tho, but it works.

was wondering if anyone with an android (or iphone if it applies) had this issue where the intro is unskippable. i was able to skip it the first few times, now whenever i play the game i gotta sit through the minute long intro. no amount of spastic tapping on the screen allows me to skip it

skip scene code is probably a@f

on my Liquidmetal the acceleromer don't work because you have to hold the phone vertical to steer straight, more bad code i expect, no calibration option afaics

Damn i just saw the difference with a iphone 4 and 4S and its big.

The 4S has blood, light effects and is much smoother

Found a settings file which enables the additional effects on the iPhone 4 without too bad of a performance hit. Really nice!

Ipad2. But yeah you were right about insuficiant ram. Had multiflow active and other apps eating up ram most lkely. Hard reset fixed it. Been working good ever since.

Great news about Vice City! And at least the car physics (well, particularly damage) won't be fucked up like in III, the cars act as if they were made out of cardboard ffs.. Laughing

Now I'm in the f'd up situation that I bought the 3rd gen iPad which I know I could sell for more than what I got it for, but then I'd have to wait till I travel overseas to get the 4th so I can't make up my mind if it's worth the hassle. Why the f did they release a new one after six months.. On the other hand, I spend very little time on the gfx heavy games (or games at all really) on the iPad, so I might as well keep it.
It's just how quick they refreshed this time is what makes one feel scammed. (even tho mine is not any worse now, I know. you know where I'm coming from [I mean it'd be nice to future proof it for say GTA:SA as well, seeing that I might not otherwise see the need to update it])
Either way it should run VC easily.. Can't wait to get my hands on that chainsaw again.. Mr. Green
