I really liked it, 7.5/10, nice pacing, eerie fucking music and sounds sometimes.

i rewatched the first one before this and was still good, but this latest one kinda meh, the story pointless, the first half was good but the editing was all over the place, the game photo mode wasnt that good in practice and added to nothing, also the ending was lol

I just watched the first and it's kinda trash now really. I remember i loved it back in the day. The eerie atmosphere in the beginning i guess is what stuck with me and kinda still do even though the effect now was minimal. But it just feels like a really, really cheap British production and while some say it's a stylistic choice i think it doesn't matter much. Feels cheap and bad so that's what it ends up being.

The movie fell apart when they reached that place, so kinda weird

I used to really like the first one while I wasn't fond of the second one. Years later I find myself feeling the opposite; second is better than the first. They're both flawed though. The first one didn't age well with that low-quality camera having that 80s/90s fuzzy vhs quality.

I'm hesitant to even give the new one a chance after looking at the criticism.

I was rather positively surprised with 28 Years Later. I watched a lot of movies of that kind but this one managed to somehow feel very fresh and intense.
Agree that the first one didn't age well, but even back in 2008 I preferred the second one.

I wasn't expecting much, since I didn't really like the previous one, but the second one was a lot better than the first one to my surprise. Who would have thought making Ralph Fiennes the lead would make for a better movie Laughing
And the Number of the Beast scene was fking amazing Very Happy

Seems like there might not be a trilogy.
