While as a non zelda game it would be a decent open world game indeed. As a Zelda game it's still a soulless husk, same as botw. Now the biggest offender though is that it's basically a copy of botw. Feels like you're playing the same game with some additional features

How many dungeons have you completed?
Only shitty shrines so far, and they are shitty alright. But i hope the dungeons are better than the ones in breath of the wild. Those sucked quite hard. It was like some numbnut fan tried making dungeons. Well the director has only made shit zelda games though.
Really curious to hear how you opinion will shape over time. I loved BOTW and what little I read about TOTK makes me very excited.
So far you know what to expect. Except for a couple of new world changes. The building block crap is not for me though. I'm sure the 10 year olds across the world crying in joy. Fusing is interesting though.
It's a competent game in itself, but still a shit Zelda game. Same as BOTW. I'll do as i did with BOTW and clear 100%. I probably have to repeat myself for the dumbdumbs: it's a competent game and exploring is fun

My point was, if you've not even got to a dungeon yet then I don't think you can fairly draw the conclusions you did. I can absolutely handle someone else's opinion, assuming it's not just fanboi'ism or the opposite (which your post came across as). Play the game properly then share your thoughts with us?
Shill-Up says he was disappointed the first 5h, then really started to enjoy it.
This isn't uncommon in these games, i really, really disliked Horizon Forbidden West for the first 7-8h or if it was even more.. I did not really like BotW either for the first 3h hours or so, then i started to really, really enjoy it. ....and then (many hours later) i just got bored and i never finished it lol

some big names on twitch got bored after a few hours so they decided to stop then got harrassed cuz they didnt liked the game that everyone is saying is a masterpiece, then they decided to pull some of the yt gameplay videos already posted, then go on twitter and somehow trying very hard to not shit talk the game and apologize again cuz they get hammered

Not sure yet , only played 10 mins of first World, for my lad really just setting it up. He wanted a switch but I already had a deck so I've dumped the 4 games he wanted and all seem to play surprisingly well , sonic , Mario, zelda and bomberman
Watched my wife play it a bit, she loved BoTW. It's very similar... if you liked BoTW you'll like this. If you didn't, you wont.
I did like the intro for the most part, im glad we're getting away from 30 minutes of cutscenes to start games. Not really my cup of tea other than that.
