Damn, next level binge watching (at least for me) saw all 9 episodes in one go. So much better than series that keep on going year after year without any proper plot or purpose anymore. Well, this one might up like that too... damn you lost and prison break

It's not all bad if true. Ben Stiller is still there and newly hired Beau Willimon which did the good seasons of House of Cards and the last three episodes of Andor
Severance season 2 is almost upon us ( Jan 17 ), so here's a quick, 37 minutes recap, of the first season which aired almost 3 years ago. To refresh your memory.
Delivered by the youtuber that I started to watch during his "The Expanse" reviews while it was still on the air.
Pete Peppers - Severance Season 1 Recap (Sort of) Everything You Need to Remember
I wonder if Helly R is still severed just persuaded to lie by her own outie/company or she is fully outie planted to observe/facilitate MDR from the inside in whatever they are doing.

Interesting that the world in the claymation is largely flooded and missing like half the Europe and so on.

Just read some theories that the series takes place in fake US State, that the MDT is responsible for some terrorist attacks - the putting data into the containers were connected to some major bad shit happening in world. And that Kier is Satan.
As to the point that the globe was a one second on screen - yeah - it might be bad clay model. But people read the whole fake newspaper that was 2 seconds on the screen.

Yeah, the recap video above shows how extremely detailed the show is, so I can understand people digging through everything. I just hope it won't go Satan/full retard
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
I want to believe too in really brainy scriptwriters and directors, but the power of modernity could not be undone
Ben Stiller, after all, is not the smartest person in the world, and he largely directs this show:
exactly, he is not the creator or the writer of this show, he is just the director, which he proved he is very very good at it since escape at dannemora, who knew he had it in him...
i said it previous season too that the episodes which he didnt directed were lacking, could clearly see the difference
yeah, given his acting career i understand how nobody would take him serious but turns out he is a very meticulous director, knows how to build atmosphere and tension and how to frame the camera which reminded me of david fincher

Why, thou? Why go into all the trouble of making this piece?
I remember when I watched this intro it felt out of place, gratuitous.
Even stranger for me, only after Mark S told his friends that wellness room disappeared, did I realize what was the purpose of this claustrophobic runnings: to convey that Ms. Casey vanished with her work place.
OK I have tried watching S1 a few times now. Both times I couldn't get through the first episode. I am not sure why; I like sci-fi and find the concept generally interesting. I guess the fear is the show is entirely focused on relationships and not really the science fiction part...
There are lots of shows I needed to watch 3-4 of before really getting into; Kin and Top Boy both went from snore fest to some of the best TV i've ever seen; will this too? Or is the first episode pretty representative of what is to come?
