It’s hard to complain about an additional two hours of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard – especially when it’s free. There’s some fun lore for fans to soak up here, and some pretty tense scenarios, too. While it never really has anything to rival the main game’s best bits, it’s worth the bandwidth for Redfield’s masterfully manicured mane alone.
According to well-known Capcom insider and horror enthusiast, Dusk Golem, he’s 100% sure that the publisher didn’t show off its entire hand of Resident Evil cards yesterday. In his tweet, Dusk Golem claims that, among other things, a next-gen update for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is on its way. More details weren’t shared, but it true, this patch will likely improve the game’s visuals and performance on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Capcom is working on a Resident Evil 7 patch for the PS5 and Xbox Series X that could get an announcement at the upcoming REShowcase on April 15.
Resident Evil 7 already supports 4K at 60 FPS on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X but the game could make do with some of the enhancements that are featured in the PC version including high-quality textures and a native 4K resolution.
According to DuskGolem, the upcoming Resident Evil Showcase might feature an announcement that confirms the current-generation patch for Resident Evil VII. This patch could be released on the same date just like the datamined demo that has been discovered on the PlayStation servers.
Tried like a thousand times to love it and i can't, such a shame since i like RE and the setting/characters are awesome, but the combat and regular enemies feels so bad to me, can't enjoy it as much as i try, i fear Village gonna follow the same route and i will be sad.
I do, of course I do! I played half on PSVR and lost interest :/

Hmm yeah I'd agree that you might not be a fan of Resident Evil Village if you're not a fan of the first person gameplay of Resident Evil 7.
