Beat Leon A, working on Claire B. To get the true ending you have to beat one with A then the other with B FYi.

Game is fantastic.

Ditto! Completed Leon A bit taking a break to play Kingdom Hearts 3. Might do Claire B this weekend.

Another outstanding single player game. Polished, quality all around. I love it!

Did 4 playthroughs so far, all standard diff., Leon A, Claire B, and a Leon A speedrun, which clocked in at 2:49 for an S+ rank (using a simple guide on pastebin), and just finished a Claire A normal run today.

I just keep getting drawn back to it. The gameplay is so good, it's a real joy to play.

I'd like some Expert S+ ranks for those unlimited weapons.. maybe I can at least get that SMG from an S rank, that'd be nice, but I'm not sure if I can do it. That standard S+ was quite stressful and expert seems way harder (haven't really tried it yet)

any of you guys do some speedruns? Wondering which of the campaigns would be easiest in Expert.

https://blog.us.playstation.com/2019/02/13/resident-evil-2-dlc-the-ghost-survivors-launches-february-15-on-ps4/

Quote:
This set of stories provides “what if” scenarios for characters you encounter throughout the main game, providing an alternate look at what things might have been like if they survived the horrors of Raccoon City.

The Ghost Survivors premise – escape from Raccoon City by any means necessary – but this time, you’ll be playing as three characters that never survived that fateful night:

No Time to Mourn features Robert Kendo, owner of the famous (and aptly named) Gun Shop Kendo. Those who have played the game may already know how his sad tale ends, but in The Ghost Survivors, he’s given a second chance when an old friend with a helicopter radios in to pick him up. Packing up what weapons he can, Kendo sets out into the streets to seek a way out from the infected city. On his way, a new type of poisonous zombie stands between him and freedom.

Way before the events of Resident Evil 2 took place, the fate of the mayor’s daughter, Katherine, was already sealed. In Runaway, her story takes her down a very different path. Seeking to escape Raccoon City with a certain someone, Katherine Warren must navigate the streets while avoiding a strangely mutated type of zombie that can only be stopped with particularly powerful ammunition. Play carefully, and you might survive.

Out of the shadows comes a forgotten U.S.S. agent. Thought to have been wiped out with his squad, the appropriately named Ghost makes his debut in Forgotten Soldier. Deep within the laboratory underneath the city, another soldier (besides Hunk) attempts his escape. Having to deal with hordes of monsters is bad enough, but what do you do when they’re covered in armor? This especially challenging scenario will put even The 4th Survivor veterans to the test.

Finish each scenario on its regular difficulty, or give them a shot in the unique Training mode. Unlike other modes, Training will lower the difficulty a bit by giving you additional items and item slots to start out with, and makes a great way to learn enemy positions and routes before you tackle each scenario on their standard, more challenging difficulty. It’s also a great way to understand some of the mechanics of The Ghost Survivors. Unlike The 4th Survivor and The Tofu Survivor, you can pick up more than the items you start with, but instead of finding items in the environment, you’ll find pickups by defeating specific zombies with backpacks, or grabbing items out of vending machines. Choose carefully, though; once you take an item from a vending machine, you’re locked out of the other two items for that run!

Ghost survivors is a part of 1.02 update (on PS4 at least) you don't have to download anything seperately.

It ain't no joke. It's a lot harder than the regular game with no saves, and tons of enemies everywhere.

I wish the ghost survivor stuff had some actual production values.

Give me a little cutscene, voice acting, lore, anything new? They made so much money on this and can't be bothered?

As it is, it's almost purely a challenge/speedrun type thing, but we already had 4th survivor for that. Would have liked something more involved.

The loot ideas are fun, but what I'd really want with something like that is a Raid or Mercenaries mode, preferably with coop. That'd be so much fun with this gameplay.

Yeah I would have rather been charged to have full dlcs than this for free. I would have paid my hard earned money. Not a lot of it, but more than $0.

Managed to finish the last of the ghost survivors today.
I really wish there were modifiers to the runs like random spawns, random item drops and item dispensers (they seem to be fixed for speedrunning purposes, which kinda sucks) or stuff that affects how the game plays. The various unlockable masks are entirely worthless to me.
Never cared for cosmetics like that. Who gives a shit, especially in single player?

Parts of it were quite challenging, but I feel like my time trying to get S and S+ ranks in the regular game prepared me for this in terms of necessary efficiency and speed.

Took me between 2 and 5 tries each to get through on standard.

To me personally, Tofu was harder. I had to do like 10-15 runs on that over several days to get it done.

Konjac is tons of fun, even though I can't seem to win as him. Always seem to die close to the end.
I love the way fire is done in the game. Flame round grenade launcher is probably my favorite weapon because it's so beautiful and Konjac is as close as I'm gonna get to infinite ammo flame grenades.

How are you guys doing with the ghost and 4th survivor stuff?
