After googling "SysMain" I see tons of conflicting recommendations and posts, some which says to disable SysMain and others says to let it run unless you experience the 100% disk usage issue.
Since I'm booting off a 1TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe I guess SysMain isn't improving my experience, at least not noticeable. I'll try disabling it and see if I notice any kind of difference.
EDIT: the service is not even running on my system since I've set it to Manual instead of Automatic during my Windows 10 tweak sessions which usually takes place after every bigger Windows 10 update where some services that I've disabled or put on Manual are set to Automatic again.

3 days into a fresh win10 home release and edge already bricked itself, wouldnt launch anymore at all, and couldnt even kill task or anything, clcik it, the logo spins and poof, nothing, had to manually repair the app ... like wtf is this shit 
i noticed an edge 6/4 installed and an entry called edge update installed 9/4 (today), did the update brick itself , or is this some virus pretending to be an update, cause usualy virusses love to brick the browser n take over
whats the better adblock plugin again these days that works on win10 and edge to block youtube and reddit ads ? or better to still go firefox and duckduckgo?
oh and dual booting a win7OS ssd and a seperate win10OS sdd with both ssds powered on seems to be a total clcusterfuck, each time u swap boot drive to witch OS, it starts repair scanning the first drive and doing actual repairs wtffffff, these are brand new drives, unplug one of the drives, and no more repairs ... like u cant make up this shit ... like both OS are sabotaging each other

As for me not sure how it happened, but remember i had an issue where if i pressed Win+S it'd show a vertically half filled search function (in a very dark "window"), with the right side of the screen 100% black?
....Not sure if it was a W10 update or Nvidia driver update, but now the issue's GONE, with the same taskbar colour and the right side showing whatever's on!!

Is that legacy Edge or Chromium Edge? And Win10 Home? And yeah, it might be a virus. Not much else I can think of with the information you've given.

Make sure you're disabling your extensions as soon as you can. You can also use System Restore to go back to before those updates were installed, disable your extensions and then update again. zero extensions, standard win10 edge included in the os, zero software installed, all i did was play a game that needed win10, not even cracked, legit bougt game , didnt surf any site, i think it legit just bricked itself updating itself
the harddrive scans in dos before booting happened the day i installed win10 on the other new drive with the win7 drive in the same system, both os just hate each other or some indexing happening were one os wants the files indexed and the other one has it disabled, either way its silly

Can anyone tell me if the version downloaded from the MediaCreationTool is the latest one, aka including every update up to date, or...?

its definatly not the old version. as i now needed an account to completea recent 2022 install
id actually reccomend finding an old one, this account crap is silly, on my 2019 laptop i dont need an account to this day, just login with a password like always, no matter the latest update installed or not

You dont need an account. Just Unplug ethernet and hit the skip button and it goes right to making a local account.
They DID make it harder to find the skip, but windows 10 always 'wanted' you to make an account then give you local as the 'other' option.
I installed it Thursday from the MCT installer on a laptop for a friend. Local account worked fine.
Can even do the same on Windows 11.
They can't get rid of being able to install it without an account. Too many island/isolated from internet in the internal intranet user stations and non-network connected dummy terminals in businesses/companies, people without internet access at the time, or such.

that is not true, there are multiple kms38 activators without malware or being "repackshits".
massgravels activation script on github may be the best right now. i don't think it even gets a false flag in defender.
do you guys really still use normal kms options? why? just activate it with kms38 and be done with it

what you want is hwid.kms38.gen.mk6.exe
the purist classic
literally just executes the server sided microsoft function for that free windows 7 -> windows 10 upgrade
and then you're done, doesn't even modify your windows install

yes but its hard to get, since the guy behind it doesn't want it to be shared anymore outside of his discord, also it mostly had a flase flag in defender.
massgravel does a good job and the kms38 activation just works like with the original tool and mostly no flase flags in defender. plus you can just get it on github instead of a weird warez forum.
