Yeah, a lot of cringy moments, but at least she looks like a real woman finally, instead of a skinny boy who's gonna start rapping any moment now.

Too bad about the idiotic character writing, some of the stories this season are really good.

More tears and crying than in a chick flick drama about a mother with cancer. So much overacting that just nullify the story lines. Meh.

This last episode really was the most retarded shit I have seen done in Star Trek since forever. I mean the premise of this season was interesting but the plot moves around such idiotic points and badly written scenes and characters with zero competence besides saying they are competent. This is Beverly Crusher possessed by a green lamp alien levels of cringe.

Has any crew in ST history cried this much? I also do not find the story interesting at all, even though this is as close to ST this show will get. Do we really give a shit about the burn at this point? I don't. After season one my hopes were up, they did the action to reel in the crowds and it was going to be about actual discovery now. Nope Sad I doubt I'll watch a new season, this is it for me. Even if they make a new season, they'll probably re-invent the show yet again. I think I liked Dark Matter more even though it had a much lower budget. Enterprise poops on this even with all of its own problems. I never thought ST had good writing, some great writing at times but average overall, but this show has shit writing.
Michael trying to act logical was funny though, the actress can't pull off subtle emotions ffs. The guy who played Spock was several levels of acting above this woman.

When you try to bsg a show, you go grim and dark and wamen cry when its grim and dark.

Look at Stargate universe. More crying than sg1.
Still a better show than std.

Stargate Universe had interesting characters, the opening season where the story revolves around the power struggle with science and safety of the crew was compelling. It should have been its own IP too, but no it had to try rope in Stargate fans which doomed the show (Stargate turns lots of viewers away, the show didn't appeal to star gate fans > so stupid)

This show is similar, I dont know what they wanted to create here but it shouldnt be a part of the Star Trek universe. These new shows make the worse of this series look like masterpieces, even shitty Enterprise with its boy scouts dialog is miles better than this crap.

After last week's failed touchy feely episode, we get a totally random ep with totally random events I find this season horrible and I have never been less interested in anything Star Trek. WTF guys. The writing in this show is so bad. I literally have no idea why I am still watching this, I disgust myself Sad

Tilly acting tough was hilariously bad Laughing

Finally done with the season, a shit end to a shit season. I had such high hopes after S1, turned out weak. The writing is horrible, the lead actress is horrible, the constant dramatic everything is horrible. Shit.
"You didn't do it the right way, you did it your way. But it worked". Yea fuck ST and its fucking regulations Smile

You know what caused the burn?
 Spoiler:

Stop wasting money on this shit, let ST die in peace and invest in some proper scifi ffs.

Quote from RT, critic consensus for S3:
Quote:

With less canonical baggage and a welcome dose of character development, Discovery continues to forge its own path and is narratively all the better for it.

The only thing critics (who are simply neomarxist culture warriors) care about is the amount of progressive, feminist and pro-trans messaging in a series. If high enough, then it is good. If low, then it is bad. Story, writing, character depth, acting, setting, theme depth - these all don't matter.

Critics are dumb as fucking rocks, I have absolutely no respect for them, their agenda pushing ugly asses can fuck right off. We would be better off without them.

Oh but the franchise will be milked and butchered further. I have not a doubt about it.

I doubt it. There's probably an audience for the new emo-"woke" Star Trek show that does not include any of us.

While Picard was more of a nostalgia trip, it was at least twice as good as STD.

Still waiting for the final season of The Orville. (fuck Hulu for cancelling the show) :/

Doubt what? The franchise being dead >to me<? ^^

Picard was a farce. Even STD season 1 was better than that apologize guilt trip that was Picard.

I didn't watch all of that vid, but what I have seen of it was correct Laughing The last two eps were horrible, like it was written by a bunch of morons. This last season wasn't that bad actually, but towards the end something went terribly wrong.
