Played few missions. I like the game so far ! Gfx are really nice, especially smoke, explosions, particles and lighting. Sand and footprints . I was scared when I saw some serious pop in on some gp videos but now..I actually didn't noticed it, or it's very discrete. World is huge and gorgeous, very nice atmosphere with great sound effects. Combat is ok, it's like Batman games...not that polished but solid I would say, it's satisfying when you hit your enemy. Shooting is solid too. I was afraid that they gonna ruin driving, I didn't liked that in JC games. But here it's pretty great, you feel the weight of the car...and it needs getting used to. Raming and shooting from the car is nicely done cause it doesn't distract you from driving and keeps the pace/action.. I love that slo-mo cam when the enemy car goes boom..or ending move when you hit somebody. Game still needs to open up, there are tons of new moves, upgrades etc. So far I really like it and I hope it stays that way and keeps the variety in missions.
Nice short info man, sounds just like I imagined it. Hopefully Monday arrives soon so I can get on that as well, got my TPP injection so I'll live longer
5h in..unlocked some nice combos and weapons..typical open world mechanics later on, scan the area using baloons, destroy camps, loot locations, destroy convoys, main story missions, go to base.. and so on..it's still fun for me. Survived my first sandstorm, I got killed once tho by a flying car door.. I would rate it somewhere between 8.0 - 8.5 . Still early to rate it I think, just 6% game completion..
Mad Max didn't arrive today. I did notice the message from Simplygames.com was sent quite late yesterday so they probably missed the 'next day' deadline. I think we get mail on a Sunday in the UK now so it could be tomorrow. If not I guess it will be Monday. I'm not bothered though as I have plenty to play

tnx..but I sadly I didn't managed to get one copy..one guy had 3 copies, sold out.. I guess I need to wait till tuesday. Oh well, at least I have other new games..you know how it is, you just need to get them all..
I don't think they get games so early. I think they get them when most other retail outlets do but they just ship early, more often than not breaking the street release dates.
Well I forgot it's a bank holiday on Monday here so I guess Mad Mad will be Tuesday.

Lovely game, i think they nailed the atmosphere from Fury Road (Even tho it has nothing to do with the movie). The game looks and feels good, though the textures could be a bit higher res (PS4) and the Bloom/Flare should be toned down. I sure dont hope that this will be obliterated by the other big one that releases at the same day. Avalanche Studios made a great game but regarding the release date ... they chose, poorly.
