The part of uniqueness of the gag comedies from the 80's was a touch of absurd in them. Something that has been lost to the creators of nowadays comedies. Now the new standard is the "shocker", swearing or unnatural behaviour from the character. There is little place for plain silliness.

I miss that kind of humour so much . Very rarely I enjoy comedy movies these days for the reasons that VonMisk accurately mentioned. Most of them are full of poor material and unnecessary vulgarity without any redeeming factor, all coming straight from the #yolo generation.
They key was that it had absurd situations, but the actors didn't react to them and were as if every ridiculous thing was perfectly reasonable in that world. These days, the winking-to-the-audience is way too common which kills the whole thing.

These days they think funny means gratuitous nudity. Have some dude whip his schlong and ha ha ha so funny.

Yup. I still laugh my ass off any time I see the chicken scene in Mr. Magoo
This is the most memorable scene for me and probably one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen and still hilarious 3 decades later.
Comedy gold
For me, it's the intro to the third:
Pretty much in the same vein as the scene you posted. For me, the arab terrorist yelling "oooh la la la la" is etched in my brain. And OJ in there is just to wrong yet so funney!
