Well Apple uses multiple display vendors as usual (probably Sharp and LG) and like most companies that ship anything with a display, but Anand for example didn't have any retention but still the same lack of calibration.

I looked around and it seems like iPad does not plays Movies off NAS quite well most player require PC to encode to play on the fly

Just because you have no clue what you're talking about Mortibus, doesn't mean there's no improvement. You're basically comparing a Pentium Dual Core to a Core 2 Duo and going "HURR NOT REALLY AN UPGRADE  ".
And most people don't give a shit either way. As long as the advertising says "TWICE AS FAST, SUPER SMOOTH, AMAZING EXPERIENCE" they'll buy whatever new Galaxy or iDevice comes out

Has nothing to do with defending Apple (as I personally think the iPad Mini is hugely overpriced and will not be getting it, Nexus 7 2013 instead), everything with you being on a sad streak of trolling attempts with false information lately.
