Well it was bound to happen eventually. Still a nice run of downloading and installing Adobe software. Now what's this updated installer, hmm...

Fought with this fucker the entire day yesterday. Eventually I've managed to install, crack, and update the shit out of Photoshop 14. And all that without getting Adobe ID, for I was to lazy to create a new fake e-mail. (Though it seems some 10 minute mail addresses are accepted.)
I didn't want to use the old cracked amtlib.dll because of version mismatch (6.0, while PS 14 uses 7.0), thereby I wasn't sure if that would work.
Russian anticloud shit wouldn't cooperate... Well, OK. I went with x-force keygen, custom updater and host file modification instead. In other words, I took the more ambitious route. So far, so good. We'll check back in a month.
I have no idea how the built-in updater works. Why sometimes it does, why sometimes it doesn't.
install Photoshop in offline mode as trial -> re-enable Internet connection -> run Adobe Application Manager from the desktop shortcut -> let it update to Creative Cloud -> run Photoshop -> check for updates -> update 14.1.1 is available
install Photoshop in offline mode using X-Force keygen -> alter the hosts file -> re-enable connection -> let AAM update to CC -> run Photoshop -> it won't see 14.1.1 update
WTF?
I took the first route, snatched the update zip archive from AppData\Local\Adobe\... (<- something longer here I can't remember). Uninstalled everything. Took the second route. Forced it to update with Adobe Update Management Tool by PainteR. Good!
Latest versions of Dynamic Media Link Server and CSXS4 can easily be obtained via PS's internal Updates menu.
Sigh!
Adobe, bring 14.1.2 on!

I reverted to good ol' CS6 v13.0.1.2 today.
There was some bug in CC with 'Save As...' dialog box which made the application crash for me while working on long multi-layered GIFs.
I usually prefer to save the PSD project file in case I wanted to make some slight changes to the animation after exporting it with 'Save for Web...'
With CC it was a 50-50 percent roulette - either it would crash losing all the data, or everything will be fine. Fuck that! I prefer the stability.

The only CC i use,for now,is Adobe Premiere Pro CC.. i "felt" like Photoshop or illustrator's CC versions were either laggy or trolling in performance related stuff...

why do people have hard time installing latest photoshop 14? and with cloud?
people must be updating the manager tool or something which can fuck with it?

Dunno about using PS/IL CC..i think it's performance doesn't fully works as it should.. i mean, i can feel PS/IlCS6's 120hz sofffffft moving (Hold space, then click/drag around) while CC has...stuttering or something
Any explanation? Oo...

i assume you are talking about cracked files? they can have negative effects on application performance.
you need to clean install with XFORCE keygen following their instructions, and then use PainteR's update management tool 7.0 to update to latest version without using shitty DLL cracks. don't ever launch Adobe's creative cloud installer app as it will update itself and block keygen serials.
XFORCE keygen + PainteR's update management tool 7.0 is the best way to have up-to-date CC in perfect working condition
here's a nice guide, you'll have to find updater yourself, because that might be against the rules to link here
Quote: | Adobe Creative Cloud Installation Procedure:
If you follow this method, there is no need to use patched amtlib.dll files.
Preparation:
1) Manually download the Adobe CC trial installers from Adobe.com
2) DISABLE YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION
Make sure all the Adobe CC applications are installed and properly activated BEFORE patching your hosts file.
Do this for each new CC app install:
1) Run the Adobe CC application installer
2) Select the first option "Install, I have purchased"
3) Click the "Sign In" button, then "Connect Later"
4) Accept the Adobe Software License Agreement
5) Generate a valid serial using the X-FORCE keygen xf-adobecc.exe, then press "Next"
(Do not close the keygen)
6) Click "Connect Later", then click "Install" to start the installation process
7) Once installed, launch the application
When the Sign In prompt appears, click "Having troubles connecting to the internet?"
9) Click "Offline Activation" then "Generate Request Code"
10) Copy/Paste the Request Code into the keygen and generate a Response Code
11) Paste the Response Code into the text box and click "Activate"
12) You should now have a successfully activated Adobe CC application
Do this next step ONLY when your Adobe CC applications have been installed and activated:
1) Patch your hosts file to block online activation C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
2) Backup these files and folders so that you can easily restore AAM and your licenses:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache
(This is where the retail Adobe Application Manager 7.0.0.324 is installed)
C:\ProgramData\regid.1986-12.com.adobe
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
If anything goes wrong, uninstall your apps and delete the above for a fresh install.
Use Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to clean the registry.
3) Restart your computer
4) Reconnect to the internet
5) Install and run Adobe Update Management Tool 7.0 (AUMT) by PainteR
6) Click "Get and Install Online Updates" for CreativeCloudApps-1.0-Win-GM then "Run"
7) Select and install all the updates you require**
**DO NOT update Adobe Cloud Installer or Adobe Application Manager.
If you accidentally close the keygen during the installation process, you can use Belarc Advisor (free software) to retrieve a list of all currently installed serial numbers on your computer.
DO NOT load Adobe Application Manager from the start menu or desktop shortcut. Doing so will cause it to self-update to a newer version and invalidate all currently activated Adobe CC applications.
To prevent this from accidentally occuring, you can change the default shortcut to this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDapp.exe" --appletID=UWA_UI --appletVersion=1.0 --workflow=Updater
The hosts file must have these Adobe Activation Servers in the list:
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 na1r.services.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 hlrcv.stage.adobe.com |

those hacks are a lot of work and unreliable
only method i've had any consistent luck has been with adobe cc anticloud
install trials from cc client as normal, block CC update access on firewall and install anticloud
you can continue to install updates through the adobe update management tool
there's a torrent called adobe cc toolkit at a certain site that has these

A lot of work>? really?
It just looks worse than it is, its a 2 min process..
And has been used since dawn of time with PS and has not given me any issues ever.
But of course whatever works for people is great, but I would hardly call it a lot of work

I remember I couldn't save PSD file while working on long GIFs. It was crashing almost every time.
I'll check the latest version soon to find out how things are now.

Yes, found them but this shit makes me so angry, I tried it with the official adobe download tool and made several mistakes, so I had to download Flash CC _5_ times through the cloud downloader (I am such an idiot / very stubborn).
But after the 3rd install I had everything in place.. The keygen could not create a valid final key though (the serial was ok). I downloaded another keygen, deleted flash, then started the installation and remembered to remove the sl folders. But when the download finished, it was broken. So I had to install it a 5th time and again, the new keygen created the same verification key and that didn't work -> FUCK!
Copied the amtlib.dll into the adobe folder, modified hosts and voila, everything works -_-*
Took me 3 hours

The latest Adobe Creative Cloud patch and both Adobe Premiere Pro + Media Encoder CC 2014 made the Universal Adobe Patcher 1.1 of mine to partially not patch PPro correctly, since at the ACCloud app it appears a blue button as in "Start the trial" next to the progra, though the program itself (without clicking the trial button but accessing it from the Start menu) works like no prob,no signs of trial..
Good thing Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 works with not Trial stuff
I've been google'in out and saw a possible 1.2 version of the UAP...But no signs showing if it works or if it's a FUCKING FAKE/MALWARE SHIT or something
Any idea?

I was wondering if they've released a new version for the Universal Adobe Patch (i've mentioned a few posts above) because whenever i patch Premiere Pro CC 2014... IT STILL SAYS IT'S A TRIAL in Adobe Creative Cloud but NO TRIAL MESSAGES when you LAUNCH THE PROGRAM (as if it was still complete)
Actual one i have is 1.1 i guess (aaand NO,i'm NOT asking for links for the crack,JUST INFO)
