Decompile? It's just a .ZIP Smile There are INIs but the game doesn't read them, unfortunately.

That's because you've never played it before Wink You haven't seen what it's supposed to look like and even then, a shadow-less game lacks enormous amounts of depth.

Then how? Oh, you mean ifunbox or something? I'm not sure, it'll likely be the same as iTunes I figure.

Oh! You mean 25PP is an app on the iPad itself? Yeah, you need 4.5GB+ in that case. Space for the IPA and then space for the extracted data.

Sorry mate, that's all I know; you need a FUCKTON of free space for the initial install. That's why everyone recommends installing via iTunes/iFunbox. It's usually quicker and costs less initial space. Just delete a few games temporarily, you can always put them back Smile

Well the use of iFunbox/iTunes is for when you download the IPA on your desktop and install when you connect the iDevice to your PC. If you're downloading via apps on the iDevice, then you need not only the space for the initial download - but also for decompression, which can often been immense. KoTOR is a 1.9GB download but then a 2.6GB+ install iirc.

I never trusted the 25PP installer on the PC, but maybe I am just a bit paranoid here with that chinese software... That feeling that they might spy on PCs with that stays with me...

Let me know how it works Wink

Well your comment totally put me off the idea lol. Im still trying to free up space on the iPad. 3.1gb free and its not enough to install?! :/

Like I said mate, you're looking around 4.6GB to install if you're installing from off the device. Connect to PC and use iFunbox, transfer the IPA from the device (whichever folder 25PP uses) then use iFunbox's "Install App" function. Or just use iTunes, whichever.

Why 4.6gb? Surely that includes the 1.9gb IPA I downloaded? If so 3.1gb should be enough! :/

I don't know, I'm just telling you what has been reported on various mobile sites. I had 3GB left on my Pad, installed the IPA via iTunes and it only took 2.6GB (or 2.4, I forget) but you can almost DOUBLE that if you try to install from the device itself. The 1.9GB IPA is compressed, uncompressed is 2.4/2.6GB.

There should be a settings file in the game folder somewhere I would think. While entirely different, the GTA games use a settings file located in the root game directory and the graphics can be cranked up.

Although if the game is having some frame issues as it is on the iPad 4 turning shit up won't help any.

Luckily the performance isn't that bad on iPad 2, likely down to the significantly lower resolution than iPad3 and above, not to mention the removal of most framebuffer effects. It's not exactly 60, but neither is it dropping below 30 either. There are INIs in to be tweaked but the game doesn't appear to read them, as "Shadows" and "Anti-aliasing" are both enabled by default.

Still, after seeing it running on the iPad, I decided it was time for another umpteenth playthrough, so I just spent the last couple of hours checking/installing mods and now playing the PC version again. The difference is, unsurprisingly, striking - everything from dynamic lighting, shadows and visuals effects all the way to grass and the wonderful water detail on Manaan. There is one feature lacking from the iPad version that absolutely kills it though; Flourish! Laughing There's no way to manually flourish on the iPad, not that I saw anyhow, and a KoTOR game without being able to swing your weapons around whilst running down corridors? Pffft! Oh and a "cycle available targets" option too, Q+E on the PC but I didn't see any way to do that on iPad.
