I've looked at func ms-3 and it does look nice, but I have no idea about the quality of the brand. This seems to be the first mouse they released?
But it's still something I might choose. |
Yup, it's their first mouse.
I had to give it back tho since it didn't work (well) in windows 8. -.-
However, it was quite nice in my hand. However the naos 5000/8200 feel like they were made for my palm.

I also need a new mouse for gaming, being left handed I don't have much options:
I need
- many additonal buttons
- medium size (the g300 is too small, my dying Lachesis was too large)
- above 2,500 dpi
- symmetrical or left handed
- below 60€
edit:
did some more checking out
maybe I should get the Steelseries Sensei Raw...
Roccat Kova is also an option but there seem to be issues with glue melting after some time

Steelseries sensei RAW would be pretty much perfect for your needs, uses also pretty much best sensor available. Bought one couple weeks ago and its very good, feels also nice (have the rubberized model).

nah, they are all for right-handed people
Sensei RAW seems to be the only option, too bad it has no 4-way mouse wheel
Breezer_ is it somehow possible on the Sensei to remap the button beneath the mouse wheel? the review I read says its non-remappable, which sucks. I have two buttons beneath the wheel on my Lachesis and they were very useful (they dont work anymore).
its also possible to use Exactaim and Freemove on the RAW edition right?

Probably some plastic cheap shit with inaccurate sensor (dpi itself really doesnt tell much about the sensor).

I got the Steelseries sensei and don't like it at all.
Left button clicks too easy, the pinky keys are in the wrong place..I hit them ALL the time trying to move my mouse. and mines not a RAW..its got the chrome finish, and holding it more than an hour or so, it feels I'm palming a wet apple. with its super shiny smooth surface the TINEST bit of sweat or skin oil makes it feel greasy..

Anyone here used the Corsair Vengeance M65?
My Razer Imperator keeps disconnecting. When I had it on the same internal motherboard hub as my keyboard and it disconnected, my keyboard and mouse would both stop working and the only fix was to reboot my computer. The keyboard num lock button would flash but both devices wouldn't work at all, not even after unplugging and plugging them back in, no matter which USB port I used. I've now moved my mouse to another internal hub but the mouse will disconnect and reconnect occasionally. I think the problem might be with a few 90 degree bends in the cable (not sure how they got there). So I'm looking for a new mouse to hopefully fix the problems I am having.

Didn't know where to post that, probably one of the more extreme compute mice I've seen.
(Twelve side buttons whatever those could be used for and a DPI of up to a crazy 16400 should there be anyone that needs that speed.) |
that kind of shit alwasy makes me laugh, who the fuck would use some absurd mice like that.

Not a fan of those 'transformers' like mouse either. Got myself a slick Razer Lachesis.
I'm not a fan of the G500, my fiancee loves it tho. If you have the time, test a few in the store, I always do that before purchase... it's just one of those things you need to know if the feeling is right.

why the "shit" would it make you laugh that people use a mouse with more options lol, the naga I use is no different and I have a use for all those side buttons in various games I play.
yeah makes me laugh as well when I dont have to move my fingers off the aiming tools we work with ( mouse and keyboard ) to get to skills needed faster to pwn people, which by the way I laugh at using standard 5 button mouse setups.

For gaming, G9x.
For non-gaming, Performance MX Mouse.

I'm still wondering when her life went so wrong to end up with me!
(In my defense... I only payed 1/5th of the price of that mouse! And I should get bonus points for it being ambidextrous since it frees up my 'writing' hand!)

g9X was really good but I thought Logitech discontinued it? Though there's probably still a lot of stock left of it so finding one for sale shouldn't be a issue even if it has been discontinued.
(Unsure what they are working on currently, used Logitech nearly exclusively for mice and keyboards before but now I'm trying Corsair's products.)

@JBeckman Do they have free spin wheel? Without that, no mouse is worth it.

Ordered the g500s. Price from Ebay was down with the cheapest of gaming mice/mouses whatever, so i went for it. Loved my G500, so i think as long as i can i'll stick to the same design.

Using the G700 since several years now. Perfect handling for me, the few macro buttons are useful, and the coating is still pretty good (no sweating, even in summer). Mousewheel has sidescrolling and free spinning too. Looks also pretty nice with that simple design (at least the non-s version)
Only thing that annoys me a little bit, the three macro buttons on the top feel very loose
