Does the PSP have a game eject button on it?

http://img147.exs.cx/img147/1125/fly0046se.gif

Interesting reading me thinks. How do you guys respond to the PSP bad points in this article?
http://www.gearlive.com/index.php/news/article/feature_why_sonys_psp_will_suck_02070458/

Also I read the UK release date is now April 29th. If that is true I get a month to play with the DS before possibly trading it in for a PSP Very Happy

The sudden ejection of the UMD disc is a hardware bug on the early shipments in japan...

EDIT: Hold up, wait a minute I fucked up the currencies, now is 250 dollars expensive for a machine like that?

Yes, the memory sticks are expensive though expect alot of 3rd party sticks that doesnt cost much.

The games are going to be around 30$ on the market... though U might be able to download them later Wink

Hmmm the headphones doesnt match the PSP? Well hopefully they can make som noise *doh*

Hmm apparently the author of that article thought there were a little ipod in the PSP, personally I dont care about how the tracks are sorted... If the music starts playing I'll be fine...

There are over 12 hours of music playback and over 24 hours stand by on one PSP battery and 3-4 hours on the heavy games (Ridge Race) and 3 hours of MP4 playing... Thats what I need in the machine... Though I could also buy an extra battery...
Ign conducted a test...

all the other statements Mr Hector Martinez states in this article is silly... The primary concern for this is the Battery Time, A button to close to the screen that goes non responsive and not at least a better convert app...

lol, yeah lots of things peole are saying is wrong with psp and stuff, but can say with hand on heart mine is perfect apart from 1 dead pixel which can only be seen on a non moving black background and its the size of a pin prick.

that website just seems to be picking holes/making mountains out of mole hills - in something thats very good.

the only thing i would say is its a handheld system for older kids and adults, which is great for me,

There is a lot of negative press... and some valid points.

I haven’t had any problems aside from the position of the square button, which you can catch occasionally with the side of your thumb instead of hitting it square on. Possibly due to the way the buttons are grouped together, tighter than a regular comptroller, hardly a big deal.

I've read the April date for UK could move dependant on chip supply and predicted sales in the US.

Battery life is fairly accurate in the review.

I'm glad to here others are enjoying the machine also, like I say can't recommend one of these enough! From the moment you switch it on you've a lunatic grin on your face. I don't think I've ever experienced this with any other technology, It's the oddest thing.

I did actually contemplate this and I could afford both machines. Forking out for games for both could be an issue though.

Speaking of downloading games:

If The PsP is going to be anything like the PS1, I don't see a reason why not:

The average PS disc was 600mb, which when compressed, and when media (movies etc) was removed, made for 50-200mb of raw data. Now, I know that cutting movies out sucks, but we may just have to do that until memory cards fall in price, which may take a year or two... and by then, the PSP itself is going to be a lot cheaper.

yeah they might be compressed since the highest Memory Card only weights 2.0 and a UMD disc got 1.8 gigs on 'em.

any1 know how big a game is? also are videos easy to compress and re-encode? my bro used to put films on his ngage (when compressed they were like 30mb for a 700mb film) the quality was pretty good too for an n-gage.
