Got my review copy today. The game is ok, but it's nowhere near the Shadow Complex quality and content. Really different game tho, SC was all about exploration, while Deadlight is linear platformer. Still have a good time with it.

And the GB video is 30 minutes, so the "quick look" has just shown you a quarter of the entire game The game does look pretty fantastic though... I really want this.
The game is unpolished - tons of glitches and clipping + the jumping feels unresponsive 50% of the times. So the quality is debatable thing . It's ok linear experience, but no way i was going to pay $15 for it. Took me 3hrs and got all achievements.
The reviews for this game are insane! Talk about a 50/50 split.... half the reviews have nothing but glowing praise, the other half scowling condemnation I think this is the sort of game people need to play for themselves, but definitely not at that fucked up launch price. That is way too high for a 2 hour game.
Meh. I was hoping this was more like Shadow Complex, now i completely lost interest.
I don't think there's going to be another XBLA title that comes close to Shadow Complex. The game was, and forever will be, sublime. It's a shame Chair don't seem all that intent on a sequel or follow up... or even a PC version
Rush'n'Attack had a Shadow Complex-ish vibe. This however never looked anything like SC, so I'm not sure why people are comparing it to that or are disappointed because it's not like that.
If anything, Deadlight looks more like Limbo.
In any case with all the problems some people are crediting this XBLA - glitches, unresponsive controls here and there, verry short and limited to no replay value - this game look great imo, the overall presentation and dat menu look awsome, and I can't wait to play it!
I was totally forgot about Rush'n'Attack remake. Is that worth a try? I ask, because actually buy all of the xbla stuff (no RGH, etc). Trial was ok, how's the full version? It gets quite low review scores, hmmm.
btw Damn, the new dashboard is really fast. Loads the whole game library with 200 titles for a second! Before i waited about 20-25 seconds every time. How MS manage to do such a huge improvement in loading speed? :0
Before i thought it was slow, because of technical limitation of 360, but clearly this is not the case. New dash is suuuper smooth.

Can't say for sure as I've played it for about 2 hrs. But I enjoyed it, for what it is; a remake of an old game with some nice stealth mechanics and simplistic gameplay. It's not SC, there doesn't seem to be any upgrades or any metroidvania style levels, but it's a nice and enjoyable sidescroller.
However I doubt it's worth 10-15$ or whatever the asking price is on XBLA.
