how about turning this into a general gamedev cooperation board?
people do their own thing and post shit they've done so far and ask help if they're stuck or if people want to cooperate on some aspect of it
i've started doing an adventure game some time ago and might post it for comments later on (still months off)

You could make a hero that is faceless and he finds and uses face parts (mouth, eyes, nose etc)

And some puzzles revolve generally around using the correct face when interacting with other characters. Of course there will be normal puzzles, too, with item combining and text/console usage (hacking and copying files)

HTML5? I'm pretty good with HTML/CSS/jQuery (actually, there isn't much I can't do animation/designwise) but the functionality of everything else... that'd kill me

I will most likely use Flash as it's what I'm probably the best at :/

I´v put this up in the last months

Survival, Action, rendered in 2d top down.

I´v streamlined the game in order to test the control's move/ look/ fight mechanics.
The game will end after 3 days (day time is reduced to only 2mt) and you're required to kill as many enemies as you can.. or die trying
