We have a winner....
Everything seemed to go fine but then I got this error 1035 when trying to install the CIOS things, after a look around I found that it was to do with stubs and got a program that errored when trying to fix things, I then found another one that deleted the foru stubs and let me run wad manager and install all the cios's..
So after a minor scare its all firing up nicely, just having a fiddle with Skyward sword, Mario Bros, the yarn adventure (very cute) and SM Galaxy 2...
Any recommendations?
My daughters written a list of what she wants but I'm after something that's NOT to do with The SIMS grrrrrrrr.
Btw, what is the nice USB browser that does the games in a 3D box thing please?
Can you add the pictures to it without an internet connection to the wii?
Oh and one little thing I found, ModMii, nicely put all the modding bits needed on to the SD via a wizard and then generates a browser guide to everything.
I initially used the guide everyone suggested which was great until I hit the stubs thing.

Oh FFS.....
I do the bloody Wii, get the sod going and then USenetsever have removed 99% of Nintendo stuff (ie its there but it does not come down), Megaupload have doed and today both Filesonic and Fileserve no longer allow you to get anything unless you uploaded it your self....
Trying to avoid torrents...
IRC was always very very slow with huge queues
Are FTP's still going, been ages since I seen any...We are talking 10 years plus....
Just asking for a yes or a no on that last question...
Any other new methods?

Thanks Sabin, AGAIN..I'll be on Astraweb asap..
Can't believe this Sopa stuff has had them running scared, Megaupload were done for money laundering as well as the files, now all these file sharers are cacking their pants.
Its their loss, what the bloody hell do they think people use them for, its certainly ISN'T for personal use storage.
Oh well, back to Super Mario Galaxy, jesus I love that game already..
Everyone on here has been a top geezer....

Pretty much got the Wii down pat now, just struggling with the VC game wads, patched them to the console country format and installed them setting the cios to various settings but I get black screen and the console locks up or it starts to load and then locks..
I'll get there, sure its a cios thing...AGAIN...
LOVING the games for the most part...

No deletions there, all the Nintendo stuff works just fine (I grabbed a bunch of Wii ISOs in mid December before I flew to England) and very cheap, only $11 a month. They also have the largest overall retention (last time I checked it was 1255 days)
