I've never used one but have read people complaining that it's loud on a number of occasions. |
If you spin up the stock fans it is, but there's no point in doing that. The difference between low and high is one degree in temperature; the fin density is high enough for fan speed to not make a different in CFM. At low speed the fans are inaudible.

Corsair watercooling units are so overpriced (H100 not worth it atleast), i got this Antec 620 for 44euros, was sweet deal. But if you are wondering, even this 620 wins Frio. H100 in the otherhand is very powerfull if you do Push & Pull Configuration lets say 4x Gentle Typhoons 1850rpm, it wins every available cooler out there. |
I've not seen a single review where these closed systems really get a major advantage over something like my Frio or an NH-D14; not enough to warrant spending twice what I paid for my Frio and having to reseat it all anyway.
Check these for example:
- http://www.kitguru.net/components/cooling/zardon/antec-kuhler-h20-620-liquid-cooler-review/4/
My Frio performs equal to a DH14 (didn't use Thermaltake's thermal paste for the record, substituted my own). I run my 760 at 4.4 GHz with all the fans on low speed, it peaks at 71 degrees with Linpack. Takes a while to get it up there, but I haven't had it go over that.
I need to find a review of the H100 with a proper 4-fan push/pull configuration like you suggest there, as that seems like the only one which SHOULD really be ahead of pure air coolers. With that big of a radiator, it SHOULD make a massive difference, and it would fit perfectly in my Phantom as well :/

Why did you remove those white things from power cables? To break monotony?

Thanks I glad you guys like it. And Werelds, its really not that difficult if I can do it. The most confusing part about watercooling I found was the tubing and fitting sizes. Im currently using 1/2" ID (inner diameter) and 3/4" OD tubing with the same size compression fittings. And for the barb fittings, all you need to match is your tubing's inner diameter to the barb's inner diameter

Yea I have a few of those herbie clamps in black but I honestly hate them. Theyre so impossible to take off which is why I went with the screw clamps instead.
The rad Im using is a Thermochill PA 120.3 and the pump is a MCP655

Oh, I'm not worried about it being difficult, it's just that I change stuff in my PC too often

They actually make a special tool to remove those that makes it much much easier to remove them.
I'm running a thermochill 120.4 and an MCP655. Those rads are absolutely flawless. This is the second one that I've owned. The other one is on my other system currently and still performs excellently after five years.
