fucking ace of clubs contract, i've played the fucking mission 2000 times, last two times i made it pretty fucking far, but fucking friendlies have been shooting me and my chopper down!... i'm starting to wonder if it's a bug or something, cause they down all enemy aircrafts aswell.. without any warning what so ever.

Honk the horn to let the friendlies know that it is you, even if you are in a hostile vehicle..

I had a bit of a dilemma on one of the early missions. I knocked out the Three of Clubs and bunged him into a jeep and sped off with his guards following me. I then crashed and landed in a river where I consequently died, since you take damage if your body is fully submerged in water (a bit like Vice City), which sucks since the guy is supposed to be a tough nut! I then respawned and drove back to the location only to see him still on the riverbed. Now realistically if I you had been knocked unconcious and driven into a river you would either be awake and swimming to survive or you would be dead but this guy was still knocked out! At least I think he was since, the mission would have ended if he was dead, right? I waded in to try and get him but just ended up dead and respawning. Er a bug? I tried gunning him down from the waters edge and although I was hitting him, he just would not die. In the end I had to reload an earlier save lol.

There are a few bugs mate, but they dont seem too bad. Irritating yes, but worth putting up with, well, yes

Judging by the clubs I'd say mostly from driving around. There were about 4 or 5 that you had to get through missions and of course the Ace is always a mission.

I wish there were some bigger clashes between the factions when you're out in the world, it's cool to see some vehicles having some small battles, but it would have been cool to see small forces marching on other bases, I mean you have all the guards standing around, it would be cool to see some unscripted random battles going on aside from the small skirmishes on the roads.
Still enjoying the game though, have run into a few hiccups, but this game, as everyone else is saying, is extremely well done. Two thumbs up from me.

Thats it, i'm bored. I've killed the first guy and now am free to roam, but wherever I go, nothing interesting is happening.
All there is to do is these bloody races which to be honest, are boring.
Can someone please give me some advice as I just don't know what to do with this game, i don't know how I'm meant to move the story foreward... i'm totally lost and its gotten boring as hell.
Thanks

LOL. Comeone, it's obvious.
Just check your PDA ffs.
sTo0z, I have actually seen some pretty huge battles before. It was when I was going for one of the lesser clubs near the allies base. The allies were fighting the NK forces, with about 6 hummers, 2 tanks and about 50 men. It was extremely cool, but by the time the battle was won (with my help) only a few men were left.
How far are you? Maybe there are some larger battles further on in the game, although they're probably scripted to happen.

When you get to the second map are you free to go back to the first one anytime? Or do you get stuck in the second one?
