The latest free version is 0.9.8.0, the solar system HD addon is also a must - http://spaceengine.org/download/spaceengine/

Instant purchase on Steam for me.

Here...we...go...

God damn YT keeps making my videos darker than the original, so most scenes don't really have the same color and brightness as when I was rendering it.

Also watch it with the "4K" quality. It's basically the original 1440p version, but since it's 21:9, YT seem to think it's 4K.

Thanks. Smile

I uploaded the original file to my drive. Once it finished processing, and it looks more like the source, then I'll link that as well for comparison. Razz

EDIT: nah, same compression. I guess people who care can download it, it still grabs the source file, so that's something.

EDIT2: Got some advice, and ran some tests. I think I may have the solution to this darkening issue.

Well, here's the reupload. Still leaves a little bit to be desired, but much better overall. On max resolution, even the compression artifacts seem to be mitigated a bit.

I think I found the next music I'll use. Just a 30 second taste.

"Distant Nebula" by Andreas Waldetoft, from Stellaris. Had to synch the singer version with the instrumental one, and tone it down a bit. The singing is nice, but way too loud in the original.

The only problem is that it's 7 and a half minutes long. Getting all the scenes will take a loooong time.
