im bit dissapointed by the new iphone4s...nothing mind blowing about it really. Faster, better cam and siri...but other than that, its same as iphone4
think i may wait till iphone5 next year...although i read somewhere tonight that iphone5 is still gonna be announced but on tuesday... i think this is bull tho

It started in PPC days, then everybody were waiting for PowerBook G5

Even though I was hoping for a complete redesign I will still get the 4s as my contract ended in August and my 3gs is showing its age right now. I thought about getting an Android phone but I don't like how they feel like cheap plastic toys when you hold them. The iPhone has weight and does not feel cheap and easily breakable.

This just again shows how much all these "analysts", "insiders" and whatnots do actually know about the new models. Bigger screen, 3 different models, smaller frame my ass. I wish people would just shut up with their shit talking if they have no fucking clue. Or at least that the media won't listen to them next time after they have been talking bullshit for such a long time.

1)Best OS out.. IOS is more fluid than Android
2)Best Resolution out
3)Best Apps/Games out
4)Jailbreakable...

Apple this time blew it at the marketing part. All these rumors about bigger screen, two iphone versions, LTE support, etc and they didn't leak anything to lower the expectations.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a sucker for new iphones (although it's difficult to find someone buy it in UK -unlocked- and send it to Cyprus..)
The big let down is the 16 month period that took them to release a new iphone which made me think they were releasing something big to get back at the top. Why did they take so long? Why not in June/July?
Hopefully, they have something else under the hood to announce within the next 6 months because Samsung and the rest android driven phones won't stay in 4S league for long.

Bought the 4S this morning at 4am! Pre-order. Will have it next Friday! $199 16GB. So, hopefully I can downgrade the iOS5 to 4.3.3 and jailbreak it untethered. Or maybe I should wait for a jailbreak for iOS5? I dunno.

Though they said 99 bucks for an iphone4 if you take a 2 year contract, if the phone is sold in europe below 250 euros unlocked then it could be a good deal, at 300 you might as well buy the samsung i mentioned above.

Sammy G2 is $199. Same exact price as Iphone 4S. iOS is still the most fluid OS out there. Dont care how many ghz u tell me. So, I guess SG2 is outdated too with its lesser resolution. (and apps)

Considering MicroSD 32GB costs around $60
And unlocked SGSII is 540$ which includes 8GB of interal memory, plus 32GB is around 38GB of total storage, which would cost you 600$, while new iphone 4g is $750+tax..(32gb version)
I still do not understand, why people need so much space? I have 8GB on my LG G2x, with few gameloft games, pictures, videos and still have 1GB of interal storage left.
And why, there is no microsd slot in iphone? This has been bothering me since day first. People pay nearly $100 to double their storage.., which could be easily expanded with 32GB card for half that price..
