Yeah it is expensive, but worth it in my opinion. I used the hacked version for a long time and it never really worked right. I updated to 4.3.3 after I bought it and it restored everything perfectly even my hacked cydia apps. So to me it's worth the 8 bucks to not have to worry about my shit being restored correctly.

not sure myself what I should do...
definitely upgrading my iphone for a samsung galaxy s2 at the end of the year when I'm due for an upgrade, and I also wanted to get either an eeepad for $400 or a galaxy tab 10.1 (or 8.9).
but I still want access to iOS apps... better to have similar phone/tab to share apps between, or is it to dumb down the tablet and get an iPad instead of an Android tablet. No way would I do phone + tablet + iPod....

I guess one of my issues is that I would never have movies on the internal memory... seems a lot easier if you have an SD card/usb stick instead of having to deal with itunes every day that you wanted to watch something different.
then again, even time I need a computer to view a movie is when I'm away on work and then I already have a laptop anyways... I guess I'm not even sure I need a tablet besides for shits and giggles..

SD cards are shit for movies, esp. 720p and 1080p, for the mere fact that they are formatted in FAT32, which has a max. file size of 4GB.
So you have to split files, or find some dodgy ext2/3 in SD support, and then use various tools to actually write something to that SD in Windows.

Are you sure that all Android phones support that? I was looking into Galaxy S II, and saw that some major work was needed to allow support for ext2/3 formatted SD card, Which is retarded if you think about it, because the internal partitions are already in ext2 (and new roms will be ext3).
And still, to see and/or write to that card, you will need extra tools in Windows. I don't understand why they don't have support for exFat.

For Windows: http://www.fs-driver.org/index.html
Install, problem solved. Just like normal drives
Don't have it installed myself atm, but I did a while back on my laptop, and it worked fine for me on an Ext3 formatted FS (and if you read the FAQ: it actually mounts Ext3 as Ext2, only means you lose the journaling).
And I'm pretty sure Ext 2 works (should be, it's a standard Linux kernel feature), I'll give it a try later if I can find an empty mSD somewhere. I wouldn't recommend Ext 3, wears out the Flash memory too quickly

I'd rather keep the standard icons, if it's all the same. I've seen the "Voice Memo" glitch, but you lose the pages whenever you sync with iTunes. There HAS to be a jailbreak option/app that increases the page limit, there just has to be.
