no you cant overclock it if that ever should become available it would only be for jailbreaked devices, but the chip is running a much lower clock frequency than its supposed to, I guess its because of the battery life really
Control:
The controls work well. I've only had a smart period of time with the game but i can assure you that the controls will not "wreck" the game for you. Unlike many other RPG/FPS games on the iDevice. The control scheme really takes advantage of the screen and its touch sensitivity. This is a real bonus, and it seems even in really tight situations the controls still handle fine.
Gameplay:
Some maybe disappointed with the no "free roam" side of the game but it appears the developers have somewhat addressed this issue by providing alternative routes around the levels and allowing the collection of loot such as gold, potions, armour etc. The upgrade system seems very impressive and easy to grip. Unlike many other upgrading techniques this can easily be adopted with no real learning curve.
Graphics:
What more has to be said other than Unreal Engine 3 and Epic Games! It really a beautiful experience on such a small but elegant device. As for the performance on the iPad ill see if i can steal my sisters and give it a shot. Maybe post some screen shots etc. The cut scenes are just incredible. On the retina display they are so vibrant and crisp! You really have to get your hands on this. Its hard to describe the detail that has gone into the graphics. I'll try and express it in my images as much as possible.
Conclusion:
Hands down the best 3D RPG game available on the AppStore. (although depending on which "controls/gameplay" you rather everyone will have their own opinions. Having only play a few levels with the game it seems very complex/strategic and intense (battles). Although you may only get 2-4 hours out of this game i cannot recommend it enough. Also don't forget they are adding content to future updates so its really a win win situation! (see quote below). Overall i will definitely be sharing this with some friends. Showing them how the iPhone gaming scene is more serious that many think.

Yup. Language is just some blabbering nonsense. At first I thought it was Portuguese or so
But then I realized they just made the language up. There are only a few words that are spoken english, like "infinity". Texts are english throughout.
Mini review from playing for 10 minutes:
Graphics are great. Sometimes fps drop a bit, but only during videos, so it's no deal.
You can't move around freely. Instead you stand at a location and can look around, and pick up items that you see (like money). When you click on a marker you either move to the next screen, or a fight comes up if there is a monster ahead.
Fighting is quite nice. You basically have to wait for your opponent to attack. You can then either block, evade or parry his attack. After 2 or 3 defended attacks the enemy is stunned and you can attack yourself, but slicing across the screen.
I can't say right now if there is any difference between blocking/evading/parrying. Maybe later on you need to act accordingly to certain attacks, but for now everything works out the same.
You also have magic that you can use, by drawing figures on the screen (similar to Black & White), but I only did that once, so I can't say how much depth there is to it.
After a fight you gain experience, which you can use to improve your 5 statuses.
Items also gain experience, and when they are mastered, they give you an extra bonus. So you probably will have to decide to either take a mastered item and get the bonus, or to use a new item without a bonus, but that can level up.
I'm not quite sure yet, but the achievements and the wording let me suggest, that you can play the game again and again to level up your character even further, because the game talks about different bloodlines (and the intro also plays into this, but I won't spoil anything here).
So that's about all I can say for now, back to playing

Can you use any cable if your device has a JB?
I am thinking about getting a cable, but the Apple ones are like 30€. So I wanted to get a cheap one for 5 or so...

Admittedly I am not very far yet, but does it ever become a requirement to use certain moves on enemies?
I mean, it teaches you to parry, but I always end up just dodging... Seems like a waste for all the other stuff when you can just dodge everything... so I'm assuming the other skills become necessary down the road? ;p

I havent played it enough to answer that question either

It will become more difficult to temporize the dodge, but if you´re a dodge master you can use it always
