That's the whole point. Who is to say it would be 4:2 now? Would England try that hard to win while it was 2:2 and allow Germany to counter-attack like that?
I mean, England was/is bad, I didn't want them to progress farther, but to lose like this is just bullshit.
Also, what fuck allowed this referee to continue judging after a string of controversies, bad calls, etc.?

Guess we'll never know how the game would turn out with that goal.
But on the second half Germany did more than enough to validate their victory IMO.

Well that was a crock of shit. 4-5 of our players just arent international standard, the whole competition we've been crap. Beating the smallest team in the tournament by one goal. The whole team needs to be re-thought out. we cant play 442, gerrard and lampard cant play together. When you're losing 4-1 and you bring heskey and shaun wright philips on you know that you're destined for failure.
Yes the game would have been different at 2-2 but in the end the germans were waaaaaaaay better than us, not that that was difficult.

I highly doubt 2-2 would've made a difference. If anything, this should've pissed the Englishmen off, but it didn't. Honestly, half look like they can't be bothered, and it's been like that the entire tournament :/
Germany deserved this win.
And yeah, the refs are terrible this tournament, but it has happened in other matches as well :E

England no way deserved to win or even draw.. they got absolutely demolished all over the park today.
Maybe if they played well and matched germany, you could have a case.. but they didnt come close..
+ if the most overpaid/overrated team on earth does not have the mental strength to overcome 1-2 then they dont deserve to win.

You receive a goal from a POSSIBLE offside, receive another. You score, 60 seconds you score again, only the referee is blind and you say you wouldn't feel crushed?
I even wrote later that England was way worse, I was in fact HOPING for a German victory and I was in no way cheering for England, but this German victory feels a little bit shallow, despite obvious superiority of the team that not a single "soul" is denying.
tl;dr
This is about the referee being a complete idiot, not about one of the teams being better.

No it didnt.
These people are not amateurs.. they get paid big $$ to play football..
If they dont have the mental strength to get over a shitty call BEFORE half time and get on with it.. they dont deserve to win.
England got outplayed that entire game.. germany could have won by alot more than that
