lane stanely is kindamy idol
even tho he was a junkie...he was totally intouch with himself and his music
I think when grunge died, "rock n roll" died too...there arent any good "rock" bands anymore...just ppl who play 3 cords and do covers...no talent
hence the reason I left my band
i sing black/death metal and some soft stuff. I can go from cannibal corpse growling, to cradle of filth screaming to good old rock n roll like stone temple
yet, the guys that i was in a band with, wanted to play shit like sum41 and crap.
U know, progressive, popish beats with some fag whining for vocals...well, i dont whine and i dont listen to soft ass music.
Plus, I guess i learned my song writing from alice/emperor, and combined them...so some songs are like a grungy dark mellow feeling, while others are just pure screaming and black metal crap.
Damn, i dont think i should have talked about it...I hate not having a band to sing with...just to many pussies around nowadays...and not to many ppl can write lyrics/music with substance

your lucky man, looks like u guys have a good black metal scene in sweden. Wish we have it here, kinda small ya know? And alot of the ppl who turn out for shows are fuckin pop-metal lovers - buncha homo's with sum41 shirts at a cradle of filth concert lol

that's true
altough i have listen to rap along time ago, i think it just suck. How many rap artist [not only rap artists] have come and go, just to make quick money. Releasing 1 shitty album/single and that's it. And most of the times the singel is a cover or is containing most of the song a sample from another 1.
music nowadays is just to commercial. |
