I wanted to say playing games on somewhat slower machines. If you want to play games normally on Vista you need a very good rig... Vista has bunch of processes that are necessary to run everything smoothly, and that drains processor power as well as ram

Sure, that is 100% true. But again (I don't want to nag here, but I guess i do ) no probs on my rig, and that's all there is to it...really!.
Actually on that topic...does some one have a good link for "VISTA DREAM SCENE" movies . And do any of you that run it, run it without hick ups. had a few small probs when it sort a...well bugs out on ya sort a . No biggie, but anyway.

Check out the paid DreamScapes from stardock. It's easy enough to find them for free ( ), and some of them are just amazing.
On my not-that-good laptop with C2D T5500, 1GB memory and MR x1400, they run great. The entire process takes like 20-30MB more and it's barely felt, only during start up.
