"Let's make a CoD/Battlefield game but name it something else, preferably already famous and with cheap IP, that has nothing to do with its old games" - How the idea started here.
Delta Force: Hawk Ops is a first-person shooter which offers players both a single player campaign based on the movie Black Hawk Down, but also large-scale PvP multiplayer action.

Is it just me, or is the PC gameplay footage shown in that trailer stuttery and jittery as hell? It's like they recorded it at 30 FPS, but they couldn't even manage that as it seems to dip even lower? Guess the recommended specs on this one are going to be a 5090 for 60 FPS @ 1080p

Didn't play it during the open phase of the Steam Next Fest (figured what's the point given that was still an old build and all progress would be wiped regardless), but, given its free-to-play nature as well as its popularity amongst those from the developer's region, I fully expect it to be absolutely swarming with cheaters from day one - despite "Team Jade's" consistent babbling about having a zero-tolerance policy blah blah blah. If they were serious about this being a long term success and retaining a player-base they would not have opted for Ten Cent's shitty out of the box anti-cheat solution (Ace or some such nonsense).

Very funny indeed, many people consider BF3 to be the best BF game ever. Others consider BF4 (after the gaziillion patches) to be the pinnacle of sandbox gameplay and "Battlefield moments". My personal favorite was BF2142, but I admit it's probably very influenced by nostalgia.
So anyways, there's for everyone's taste, but pretty much everybody seems to agree that 2042 is the worst BF game ever
Now, trying to get back on topic, I've enjoyed the "BF" modes of this game, and with it being F2P you only have to consider how much of that other valuable resource (time) you want to invest in it, but the thing is that the extraction mode seems to have the main focus by the developers so the BF modes might start to get neglected at some point, sooner than later.

You're both wrong - best was Battlefield: Vietnam!
