Just bought a 4k screen and even with my mid range 3060 TI games seem to run ok. I do get drops to like 40fps and not everything is maxed out, but 4k just looks so much better than 1440p. I also think the monitor is helping a lot with freesync, response times etc.. as I can't tell the fps difference in Cyberpunk running at 4k 40 fps and 1440p at like 60+
Maybe I am just super sensitive to it. My eyes are not the best as far as crispness/clarity. Got glasses and astigmatism in both eyes. But for refresh rate, G/free-sync regardless I can notice.
70 with gsync/freesync and 120 I notice a fair bit of difference. I can't TELL you what that difference is if asked to pinpoint describe what I perceive as the difference. But I can tell with fair accuracy which is which. I just doesn't 'feel' right and I look up at the green steam overlay of FPS to go "AH that's why, its down in the sub 80s'
Same as people saying reprojection in VR makes 60 nearly look/feel like 120, its night and day to me. I can clearly tell when reprojection is kicking in vs the 120 my Headset can do.
Only way I can describe it, and its not quite right way to put it: Like when watching someone on youtube play a game back when 60hz was the norm, and somehow it feels smoother at youtubes 60fps while watching it, vs your 60fps while playing it. (not the same and bad example, just only one I can think that kinda fits how it feels to me.)

No no no, not until you post the obligatory LED seizure inducing LED light show to any cheesy Daft Punk song.
At least thats me and my friends tradition to join 'The cool PC doodz' Club.
Long ago when LED strips was first coming out and RGB controllers was new (not even ARGB, just old RGB) a friend of ours posted a video of his new build doing that.
So we tongue in cheek do it every new build we get. So....fire up youtube and make those lights dance!

Sorry for the off-topic, but for all the RGB haydurs (and lovers, I guess, since this has all-in-one control for all your shit), check this out:

Just change everything to static, chose black as a colour and voila.
The only leds working here are the ones from my network card, as God intended!

@tonizito
That's what I use. Way less bloat. It does way more than just static too.
95% of the time mine are set to a static dim white, or amber color if I am sleeping in my office here. got a bed in here for those nights I am up until 4am and wifey gets up at 5. Dont want to wander in and wake her up getting in bed 2 hours before she needs to get up.
