Nothing for me this time, tried Just Cause 4 on PC and while i did like JC 2 and 3, i didn't enjoy my time and only played like 3 hours of JC4 so pass for me.
Also finished Prey and i liked it, finally managed to keep playing and was very good, didn't care for the ending tho. It also looks and runs great on XSX, really good with auto hdr.
Tried some other games like Second Extinction but not for me, much action but i like more traditional single player games, and while you can play this solo it just doesn't feels fun.
Fallout 76 got 60fps patch via FPS Boost but sadly it looks kinda bad, they lowered the res for sure and shadows looks bad, will pass for now, doesn't seem reasonable to lower the res when it's still an active game, oh well.
Also tried both We Happy Few and got angry that it have a manual save but when you die or load a save you start at a hatch.
State of Decay 2 is so much busy work! Days Gone is so much better.

I thought MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries was PC only! Will check this one for sure
I’d give Microsoft Flight Simulator a go! Be interesting to see how good it is on Series X.
It’s not really a game though so I’d probably uninstall it pretty quickly I think.

Good even great lineup for the next 2 years, personally i only like shooters and hack & slash etc, so games like racing or strategy are not for me.
For the rest of 2021 i would try Psychonauts 2, Halo Infinite and The Gunk.
Next year Starfield, Stalker 2, and Redfall.
Atomic Heart and The Outer Worlds 2 don't have a date but i hope they out before my subscription ends.
"but i hope they out before my subscription ends." that's where XBOX Game Pass wins your money and you lose... People here are so happy they will be day 1 free but sometimes you guys forget that XBOX Game Pass will expire eventually
I will do my math once my subscription ends, as it is for now i won't extend my sub since for now it didn't justified the money i payed, i have 2 years and some left... Then i'll see if it's worth it.
I'm not the ideal player to use game pass since i only care for shooters etc
But if you're in for sports or strategy and more genres then you have a really big library, they just added Yakuza Like a Dragon, which is a only couple of months old game.
I'm in the US so have been quite lucky in that various promos have allowed me to add time to my Game Pass membership for little to no cost. When it was first introduced they gave away a month membership with Tmobile... bought a bunch of those codes for $1 each to get my subscription up to 36 months. Partnered with Rockstar Energy Drink for stackable 14 day codes. I have 3 12 Month Gold cards from Brazil ready to activate once my current Gold and GP subs end in November. Just need to get more discliplined, but if I can stick to my guns, no need to buy a $60 new release due to backlog and volume of games on GP.
You can just create a new account in another region (i.e. Brazil), buy cheap 1 year gold subs from cdkeys or enema, and once you have 3 years loaded up, you can buy a 24 hour games pass ultimate code which will convert all 3 years to games pass ultimate.
Therefore, no one should be spending more than about £90 over 3 years on GPU - in many cases people like me have got three years for about £75 all in.
What about in 3 years when all these games are finally released ? Will that trick still work ? What about if you wanna revisit some of these games eventually ?

Worry about that shit in 3 years. Lol
You’re either paying £100 a year or £30 a year, over the next three years.
I don't think for the Brazil cards you even need to create an account in that region, just VPN to the redeem site with a Brazilian IP. That's how I added my most recent 6 month gold card (to bring GP and Gold to similar expiry dates), can't remember whether it was Brazil, Turkey or Japan, but VPN plus Chrome's translation function made it a whiz.
Completed A Plague Tale: Innocence, took about 14 hours, i don't like stealth games but did enjoy this, combat is satisfying, story and world also are good, characters are so so, the last boss took me about 10 times before i completed lol. Overall nice surprise.. the 60fps patch is good tho the motion blur is strong and it's a shame you can't disable it. Looking forward to the sequel day one on game pass.

It's a good game, unfortunately I used a walkthrough as I beat it when the MS Rewards program was doing one of those 10,000GS = 10,000 MS Rewards points promos so I was just trying to play it through w/o missing any achievements. This was pre-patch though, will have to give it a go again with the SX.

Its been a while since I completed A Plague Tale but I have vivid memories of the final boss probably due to the number of attempts which must have been at least 10 for me also
