And you just ran the MPCHC installer from https://mpc-hc.org/ right? Nothing else? Or are you running SVP too? ~edit~ I removed everything relating to SVP, LAV, KLite, anything.. if it was codec related; it was gone. I then reinstalled MPCHC x64 direct from their homepad, set the internal LAV to DXVA2 and now videos are playing hardware accelerated even though "Internal Filter > Video Decoder" states "INACTIVE" Oh and subtitles (internal MKV) keep automatically enabling whenever I load a video. Im also using Madvr and thus the 32 bit version of mpc-hc. Im not using SVP.

I tried 32 and 64, same shit. Though without MadVR or SVP, just the standard installer, it plays videos now. yay(!) Oh well, no HWA and no SVP either.. not until "insert whoever is responsible here" fixes the shit that is going wrong Sorry for crapping up your thread, sausage. You may be able to fix this with default audio/subtitle choices within LAV splitter.

Video playback just stopped again. Trying to open a video just freezes the player with "Opening...." status message.

They released SVP 4 https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Download now you have to pay for it The free version is utter crap and lacks almost all options, don't believe there is a crack so better to stay with v 3.1.7

hmm, im using mpchc STandalone(no installer) in 64bit and svp works fine, no problem with languages or else..

u might wanna try a clean MPCHC add the ffdshow RAW source/filter as external filter/codec and then mpchc should pick up SVP in the background and all should work as intended..
