I'm always hesitant when it comes to switching OS's, but the thread is giving me hopes for the future. Thanks for the research and fine catalogue Razz. One day we'll be roommates Win10 (not now though, soon..ish!)

GoG is basically confirming what I've already found out; some old games that didn't work on 7 or 8 works on 10.

They could have said that earlier Laughing
Now to see if they don't break what's done so far with a well aimed automatic update.

XIII (GoG) Doesn't work, crashes returns error. "History: UD3DRenderDevice::ReadPixels <- UD3DRenderDevice::Present"
Fahrenheit (GoG) Works fine.

wasnt the only problem with original cds of xiii that the installer wont work? you had to copy it to hdd, start it, wait a few sec and rename the setup.exe to sth else to make it work. i think i played it on win 8.0 a few years ago without problems

Considering they said they want to make their library compatible with Win 10 I'm sure they will, at some point, fix it... I hope.

Crysis 1 on win10 requires virusek's generic securom 7/8 crack. all other cracks cause ctd's. must be used with original game exe files. tested with 1.21 patch.

can be found on the ruski forum.

really have to commend win10 again. so fucking good.

tomb raider 2, original cd image from 1997, just mount the image and install and the game works, 0 issues, no need for any patches or anything.

same for Bugs Bunny: Lost in time. a 1999 game. straight installation, no compatibility settings needed, nothing. the game just works.

Didn't expect such awesomeness. and I aplied the most insane AA method that nvidia offers.

32xS which is 2x2 supersampling+8x Multisampling. simply glorious that 17 years later we can play a game, and apply modern GPU effects that make it look out of this world.

I got a similiar "problem" but when it comes to RAM usage. This shit just eats it all up.

With 8GB if I try to play games and have Chrome with tabs open in the background, more often than not I will get a "running out of memory error". Especially with Armored Warfare.

Fuckin shit browsers these days...

ofc, opera has its own "store" for extensions but if an extension is only available for chrome its no problem at all. just google how to do it or use the chrome extension installer extension for opera
