This looks really good, definitely gonna purchase this. I do feel that the metal soundtrack, which fits with the theme they're going for don't get me wrong, just doesn't 'work' as well as a more silent atmospherical theme would; killing enemies gory blood going off contrasting the theme of gore would serve to highlight it more.
Try watching this http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/2040144/movie_max.webm turn the sound off. Have this as the sound instead.
Or maybe it's just a case of Shadow of The Beast Soundtrack goes well with anything? or nostalgia Razz

Many of us like what we see. If you don't, perhaps you should take your own advice? Troll Dad

@Epsilon

Early Access alpha at 10 august.

Seeing how there is just around ~50-60 backers with access to early builds... yeah... no leek.

It's a bit crap to be honest Sad 2D platformer requiring precision movement and it uses analogue stick to move Facepalm Not really convinced after the alpha Sad

Sabin, I emailed IRN and apparently they said a new build might be coming out, which even the players hadn't seen before..

Could be good?

After much deliberation, we are unfortunately going to have delay Slain! until March 24th.

Releasing this month would not give you all the introduction to the Slain! franchise you (and the game) deserves. There's a bit of info on the site but I'll just copy and paste here.

This release date is FINAL so please stay tuned for updates and thanks for being awesome (and patient).

Every damn gif of this game looks so fucking sick! I don't mind the delay, that's good even if they think it's not ready for release yet. I'm still very much looking forward to this!

The game just doesn't look to be any fun Sad I hope I'm wrong, so enlighten me dear humpers, have you played it and what do you think about it? It surely has some parts with really nice pixel art, though I dislike so many art decisions Sad
