This looks really good, definitely gonna purchase this. I do feel that the metal soundtrack, which fits with the theme they're going for don't get me wrong, just doesn't 'work' as well as a more silent atmospherical theme would; killing enemies gory blood going off contrasting the theme of gore would serve to highlight it more.

Or maybe it's just a case of Shadow of The Beast Soundtrack goes well with anything? or nostalgia
After much deliberation, we are unfortunately going to have delay Slain! until March 24th.
Releasing this month would not give you all the introduction to the Slain! franchise you (and the game) deserves. There's a bit of info on the site but I'll just copy and paste here.

Every damn gif of this game looks so fucking sick! I don't mind the delay, that's good even if they think it's not ready for release yet. I'm still very much looking forward to this!

The game just doesn't look to be any fun I hope I'm wrong, so enlighten me dear humpers, have you played it and what do you think about it? It surely has some parts with really nice pixel art, though I dislike so many art decisions
I played the demo but it wasn't very polished....Alpha I think....was fun and hard....heavy metal soundtrack is off the chain!! If you're into that noise!? Haha! Like any side scroller like castlevania .....but very hard....challenge? (HELL YEA!)
