Same "feature" was also "available" on Xvid.

Either the encoder didn't encode well, or the player did not know how to decode properly. End result: visible macroblocks. "Efficient" encoding by reducing quality. Where have I heard of that before? Scratch Head

I see a "proper square" in that h265 shot. Take a good look right above the smooth. Whether data was there or not, if the end result cannot display smoothly, it's worse, even if much more efficient.

By how much?`
Because I really can't see the difference so this will be great when downloading flicks. ^_^
