Finish the game first. Finishing the game will feel like extra content / a DLC since obviously you didn't finish the game yet. Why bother purchasing a DLC if you obviously are bored of the main game? Laughing

will get the DLC even if they don't want it Neutral

^This.

Besides I might not be ready to finish the game yet and am waiting for further improvements, there is no rush, right?
Also doesn’t meant I can’t wonder if or ask if it requires the base game completed first, whether I’m going to finish it or not Rolling Eyes

My bad I remember you bought the premium edition upgrade because you couldn't wait a few days to play it for free on game pass Laughing

It's finally here my fellow Toddlers, the first expansion pack for the BIGGEST, YUGEST, game of 2023! Get hyped!

Cool Face

In all seriousness I hope it's decent. I disliked Toddfather's 'quantity over quality' approach that made for a very big, but very boring universe to explore.

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

MIXED reviews on Steam.

https://steamcommunity.com/id/Btoop/recommended/2721670/

262 people found this review helpful:

"Starfield's base game was incredibly underdeveloped. The gameplay loop was a stop-start mess of fast travelling, empty terrain and the same locations on repeat. The world building and narrative matched the gameplay, unlike The Elder Scrolls or Fallout, Starfield feels like a bunch of vague ideas stuck together and the end result is a shallow universe with very little to be invested in.

Shattered Space changes none of this. It's just more Starfield."

And this comment shows : 0.0 hours played in the last 2 weeks.

Rolling Eyes

Edit : So it seems DLCs nerver shows time played on Steam.

So it's 1.2 hour looking at his base game play time (2 last weeks).
Still ....

Very short DLC or biased review.
Don't forget the DLC might come interesting only after 40 hours or so. Very Happy

Maybe, mon ami.

But let's be honest here: do you really believe this DLC (or any other) can truly save Starfield?!

Even the most hardcore shills&journos can't defend the DLC, it must be ghastly in every possible way [PURPLE INTENSIFIES]

Meanwhile, Pagliarulo:

Quote:
"We pushed ourselves to make something totally different. To just jam into an Xbox the biggest, richest space simulation RPG anyone could imagine. That we pulled it off makes Starfield something of a technical marvel. It's also, in a lot of ways, the best game we've ever made. But for us, most importantly, Starfield has its own unique personality, and now sits right next to Fallout and Elder Scrolls."

Paglialolo (Pagliapulo in RO) seems to be so DISCONNECTED from reality that it's worrying... !

People with so much experience and influence in the gaming industry behaving like this, shows that the industry is INFECTED and really SICK with some chaotic, ignorant and destructive ideology.

IGN gave it a 7.
Pretty sure this is the same reviewer of the base game who gave it a 7 as well lol.

IGN giving every game a 7 just shows how dumb and useless numerical scores have become.
Review the game and at the end rehash positives and negatives and most importantly explain the gameplay loop in the review itself and everyone can decide by themself if it is for you or not.
Plus they would be able to dodge publishers blacklisting them for low scores.

Sometimes i find a game that i might like but actually dont know what the gameplay loop is and even after watching 1-2 videos on youtube its still not suffiiently explained.

Numerical scores are unreliable or straight up pointless.

When I was writing my reviews I opted for pros and cons. I find this to be a much better system for the readers as you can identify how the elements that matter for you the most are represented in the game.
