those are perfect temps for me. Unfortunately we're starting another heat wave in Poland, especially western part. 33 expected today, 34 tomorrow. Fuck me... at least it's not 40...

We've been dancing between 38 and 42 °C for the last 2 weeks non-stop (and still quite a few days ahead with 38+).
I rented my current appartment last year with a/c in both bedrooms + the kiving room purposedly preparing for this, I keep them on for 18 hours/day for these heatwaves, on "normal" summer days (30-33 °C ) using fans is enough.
My daily power usage is going over 30 kWh regularly but completely worth paying for it, IMO.

Just paid my bills today. Energy prices are RIDICULOUS now and I'm trying my best to avoid using the A/C but my power bill this month (for last months usage) was twice as high as my normal power bills I have 2018-2021). It's still worth using the A/C when it's beyond uncomfortable, esp. dropping the temps before going to bed, otherwise I'd just lie there swearing while being unable to sleep with sticky legs clamming against each other.

Why do you think hot climate countries don't do very well in scientific progress or territorial expansion? It's simply too hot to do anything |
I'm definitely on the right track then!

You are a passion filled spaghetti. You have the ability to tan a little at least. So that helps a lot against the sun.
Now for the other northern kurwas I have no solution but underground summer cities cities or...

It's "only" 24-25 degrees here in the South West of Sweden.

Super thick curtains that blocks light/heat really helps i've noticed, didn't think it would help as much as it does.
I enjoy summer a whole lot more when i can deal with the excess heat (and light in the morning, which will instantly wake me up).

Here it's been mosquito free this entire summer.. they're annoying suckers for sure.
Overall very happy with the temps here, 18C now.. cooler than last year.
why is everyone so shy when it comes to adding a real Location to their profile btw.. i mean if you're gonna talk about weather etc its relevant.
