Been playing for some hours. I like it more than i thought i would, it's definitely unique (both in good and bad ways)..
When i first saw videos i thought the walking would be like some kind of mini game almost, but it's just about pressing down two buttons at the same time while you steer.. i'm not sure that adds a lot tbh, more than it being a bit annoying to always hold down two buttons so that you're stabilized if you carry a lot of stuff. If you don't you get a very minimal speed boost i guess, not worth using.
Graphics are great apart from the aliasing which is sometimes very noticeable.
All the interfaces are stupid and feels so bloated with stuff, really hate those. It's never doing a particularly good job when it comes to explaining stuff, e.g which button to press, it can show some generic button and not mention which it is. E.g "Like" button, no idea which one that is and i tried all. I can see how everything so far has 0 likes lol, no one has figured out which button it is or even when to press it for it to deliver a Like. Not too important but says something about the very poor interface.
It's also typical poor taste Japanese with some parts really deep but some parts that just makes you roll your eyes.. like "cool" names - 50 year old+ adults calling themselves "DIE-HARDMAN" and wearing "cool" skeleton masks lol.. sure kiddo! really immersive and believable this really cringy mix of adult themed and 11 year old "cool" themed isn't great.. What if the main protagonists in Alien would have referred themselves to as "DIE-HARDMAN" and "DEADMAN" + then wearing cool masks they ordered from Wish... it doesn't add, it only takes away from the experience.

Don't know if to laugh or cry from this game...
Just one question... will the shit (I'm only 2 hours in and can't fucking understand nothing) that's going on the game (like creatures or whatever that you only see the handprints and the baby etc) be eventually explained?

Wait for the sequel. It'll be a prequel set 3 decades before the events of this game.
The eventual sequel sequel will be in the future where it will be a timeloop (borrowing events from games 1 2 and 4) explaining the events of the corridor scene that will hint at an explanation of the whole game. Followed by the 4th game that takes place after the first game and moments before the 3rd game starts. It'll be full of exposition, and missing dialogue that's in the 3rd game. So you'll have to play the games in this order, 2-1-3-4. And then you'll have 80% of the story. The rest is in the novelization of the game.
It's a simple Kojima-san game.

Tried it again and turned it off after the introduction of Diehard-man. I would never have expected something that was taking itself as deadly serious as that two hour opening cinematic, almost vanishing up its own rectum, to have such ridiculous character names. The sheer pretentiousness was off the scale. Concept after concept being dropped into conversation without as much of an explanation. Not being able to move a few hundred metres without some bedwetting music being played and the artist appearing on the screen - talk about a disconnect fromthe story. It's awful self-indulgent shite and he needs to reign his ego in.
